[HIATUS] Pokémon - Battle Legend

I awoke the next day from my rest and looked towards my surroundings. I noticed all my Pokémon resting nearby except my Heracross...


I decided to get up and search for him and Pikachu quickly followed. I returned the rest of my Pokémon still sleeping before heading out into the forest where I remember he flew towards the previous day.


I arrived at a humongous tree and looked up at the different branches. All kinds of different Pokémon rested on this, I saw tons of bug Pokémon from Weedle to Butterfree all the way to Johto flying types like HootHoot and Noctowl.


I looked at the giant tree and decided not to tell anyone about it as well.


It was truly beautiful with the surrounding vines and the plethora of Pokémon.


I soon found my Heracross being attacked by a multitude of different Pokémon as it greedily sucked the sap out of the tree.


I shook my head along with Pikachu as we entered the forest.


Most of the sounds surrounding us stopped as we closed in on the tree, all the Pokémon quickly turned towards us and we became the center of attention.


The Pokémon watched us with clear hostility as we walked towards Heracross.


I told Pikachu to slam him in the back as we approached. 


He flinched from the sudden powerful attack as most of the Pokémon surrounding us were not powerful enough to hurt him, especially when he was continuously using Endure as well.


He left ones over with hostility before recognizing us, 


His mood quickly changed and he hobbled over towards me before giving me a quick hug.


I or him on the back before he let go and waddle back to the tree like nothing happened.


He was quickly slammed again and looked towards us with tears in his eyes as if questioning why we were doing this.


Crohs?! He looked over in shock before suddenly an explosion rang out nearby!


All the surrounding Pokémon nearby the explosion began screaming and a massive battle was taking place!


Me and Pikachu began to leave when we looked towards Heracross. He had his hand outstretched towards the tree while his face clearly showed hesitation!


I sighed then returned him to his Pokeball.


We followed the loud noises and saw the battle going on!


Around ten men dressed in black uniforms with a menacing bright red R at the center where capturing all the Pokémon in giant nets!


I began to close the distance between me and the group and listened in on their conversation without being spotted.


"Hehe, think we'll get that promotion?"


"Probably not, we are only a separate unit, we aren't even on the main mission."


"Well these Pokémon are useful regardless, but aren't anything special."


"Yeah, they'll probably only be experimental subjects.."


"....haha! You didn't read the debrief either!?"


"Tsk. Yeah, why? We weren't even included in the mission anyways."


"Damn, this is why we can't get promoted!"


I picked up some info from their conversation until someone else showed up and told them to shut up.


My heart shook listening in, experimental subjects!?!


This world is much different from the kids show with the wacky Jessie and James, Team Rocket is a real menace!


My heart feels torn up thing of my own Pokémon being experimented on!


I resolve myself to take them down and gain massive motivation towards the main quest!
