Recuperate Well

Yyan remembered falling asleep while hugging Yue.

It must have been hard for her to get him to bed.

He can't help but smile.

Since the brother-sister barrier had been broken, he can now freely attack his Yue.

His body had never felt light in ages.

He immediately got out of bed and took a shower.

When he head out to the dining room, he can hear the chiming voice of the lady giving out her instructions.

The former Yue never bothered with governing the household.

But this time, she took it upon her hands to make sure that Yyan is properly taken care of.

Looking at her being busy and all, Yyan felt like he was looking to the future, when she gets to be his little wife.

Yue probably noticed that someone is watching her so she looked for the source of the gaze.

When her eyes landed on Yyan, she gave out a mesmerizing smile.

"Feeling better?" Yue didn't forget to ask of his condition.

"Hmm, all better" Yyan gently answered.

Yue didn't seem to believe him and tried to detect whether he was lying, and then was later satisfied.

Yyan kept the smile on his face all throughout the process.

"That's good. But you still needed to follow the doctor's instructions to the dot. We can't afford to have you experience a relapse" Yue tried not to get distracted by his face. Seriously, what got him so happy early in the morning? Her heart won't stop pounding.

"Don't worry your pretty head about it. I'm sure as healthy as I should be" Yyan patted Yue's head. He would very much love to hug her at this moment but he had his plans.

"I apologize, but I won't listen to you this time. I have called back Assistant Yi to take care of the company. Your people are there for this kind of situation. Please don't be stubborn and let us worry about you" Yue looked at him pleadingly.

Yyan was dissatisfied hearing "us" instead of "me", but seeing Yue's pitying face, he was doomed to listen to her plea.

"Alright, I will stay at home to recuperate just don't show me that face" it's hard for me to resist and might give you a kiss-were the words left hanging.

Yue smiled successfully but seeing that little fox like appearance, Yyan almost couldn't hold himself back.

"Take your seat please, I'll have the breakfast ready" Yue happily skipped to the kitchen.

Yyan watched as she personally prepared their breakfast.

Just based on the food presented, he was sure she personally cooked for him.

Yyan couldn't help but anticipate in his heart but still kept it in check. Unless he is 100% certain, he can't let his guard down.

Breakfast was finished harmoniously.

Yue left a series of instructions and warnings, not eve letting him enter his office before leaving for work.

Yes, Yue didn't stay at home to take care of Yyan. But instead of heading towards to Alcane, unbeknownst to Yyan, she headed to his company.

This is a bold move from Yue.

She knew Yyan wouldn't mind and it's not as if she has a malicious motive.

After he fell asleep, she immediately contacted Assistant Yi and had him brief her about the situation in Yyan's company. Even Ruyi didn't find anything wrong with the setup.

She decided to take in charge of his affairs while he is recuperating.

She's determined to have him stay at home to rest for the whole week.

To make sure Yyan wouldn't notice, she left while wearing her casual clothes and just changed after arriving in the company.

If Yue willed she wouldn't be soft bun.

Doubts and arguments arise when she first showed her face.

In order to avoid pandemonium, any news regarding the actual condition of Yyan was restricted. They made it look like she was sent to train to handle the company. As Yyan's sister, this kind of explanation wasn't so unreasonable.

But still, not everyone was satisfied in this, especially that there are big deals that are needed to be personally closed by Yyan.

But any voice of discontent gradually diminished as they saw how capable the Young Miss is.

Her temperament maybe milder than Yyan but it was enough to deter the big bellied corporate men.

She who had gone several life-threatening experiences and have personally killed with her own hands. The atmosphere around her was not something they can easily acquire.

The tension in the room is increasing.

Yue was currently closing the last deal of the day.

Usually, the person she talked with are not so difficult to handle, although they were bit skeptic at first facing a little girl instead of the authoritative Yyan, the deal still ended up smoothly. It was partly because they knew that she wouldn't be made to sit in his place without capability and his permission, and also, because they would prefer to work with a light air than the threatening vibes of the CEO.

But this time, Yue was faced with an unreasonable man.

A soft approach is out of option.

The discussion about the deal was at a stalemate.

"Surely you didn't think that this deal is a big loss for our company" Yue eyed the man seated opposite her.

"Don't get conceited little girl, our comp-" the man originally thought that he can gain easy advantage for this deal. When they learned that it would be the sister and not Young Master Crest himself that would be facing them, they immediately gathered data regarding her. Based on what they have discovered, she was known to be retarded, even if she seemed to gain a normal disposition, what can she know about running a company especially since she seemed to pick up interest in fashion designing rather than learning business administration.

But now, that doesn't seem to be the case.

"Oh, little girl?" Yue raised her brows and the next words she uttered almost choke the life out of the men in the room. This includes the assistants standing behind the scene.

"This little girl-" Yue dragged her sentence "can destroy your company and your life with just a snap of my fingers" she smiled innocently as if she was not talking about other people's demise.

"The lives of the thousand employ-" the man's face was livid and was trying to forcefully bend Yue's will.

"Do you really believe that you cared for their lives, and if you don't, why would I?" the man helplessly slumped in his seat. How is this confident devilish lady dumb? All people are idiots if she is.

"Mr. Salek didn't have to worry. It's not that this little lady is heartless" Yue already gained the upper hand. She had gone through the deal once again.

Mr. Salek couldn't help but take a second look at the erect back of the lady who just walked out of the room. Admiration for her ability was apparent.

It may seem that the other company gained a lot from this deal but the lady actually made sure that both sides will get equal benefits.

She could easily dominate, but she prioritized partnership, a long standing relation.

Yue was skimming through the documents as she walked back to the office.

No one would usually impede her way since Assistant Yi was there to clear the way and the employees don't dare to anyway, but this time she bumped into something hard. She lost balance, but was supported before she fell.

"Enjoyed playing, hmm?" a low seductive voice resounded in her ears. Yue blushed furiously and glared at Assistant Yi who was trying to hide his existence. She only got a helpless shrug.

Ruyi exited.

"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be resting" Yue covered her embarrassment by throwing the blame on him.

"And let you tire yourself running this worthless company?" Yyan was stern.

"This is your company!" Yue puffed her cheeks. She couldn't understand what he is getting angry about.

"It was never more important than you are. Maybe I should close this down" Yyan pondered the decision seriously.

No wonder Yyan felt that there's something wrong. Yue was coming home just in time to prepare and accompany him for dinner. She even made sure to call in just to make sure he is taking his meds. He was seriously bored at home but in order to cater her wishes, he didn't even try to inquire about the company's status.

But even if Yue tried to hide it, he noticed that she was extra tired nowadays.

He called Kiro to ask about her whereabouts at work only to find out that she actually took a leave.

This time he cornered Ruyi.

Surprisingly, his Assistant is tightlipped.

He called Shuuei to confirm his suspicions.

Just a little pressure and the guy immediately gave out all the information he needed.

His Yue, in order to make sure he recuperated well had taken his position in the company.

The company for him just a playground, so it was not an exaggeration when he said he didn't mind closing it down. He can always establish another one. But Yue was not aware of this.

Although closing the company which served as a forefront of his operations was not really easy and many other business will be affected, but it's nothing if it will shackle his Yue.

His subordinates will surely cry blood if they heard his thoughts.

In Yue's eyes, Yyan was overreacting.

It was not as if she planned on staying in the company, after a week of recuperation she will silently go back to designing. It's not as if she was slaving away. Although it was true that she underestimated the energy needed to handle a big corporation.

She just didn't tell him.

But she wanted to learn more of his world. She didn't want to silently watch on the side.

If only he waited obediently for a couple of more days.
