For the Last Time

**** Very Important Note: For this chapter, I'll be using the original name of FL which is Moon and Yue will be her dead sister. They both mean the same, and I'll eventually turn back to using the name Yue for the female lead after this chapter****

As the power of oath invades the body of Moon, the latent spiritual power which she unknowingly absorbed during the time she went back in time was activated.

As the spiritual power thought the power of oath to be an invader, it tried to expel it out of Moon's body causing chaos which manifested into her torment.

Sensing her sister to be in danger, the trace of Yue's consciousness moved and tried to reconcile the two powers.

With the blood of the high priestess running in their veins, they are able to tap and manipulate the mysterious power of the continent. Yue tried to get hold of the two powers and convert it into something that would nourish the original soul of Moon.

By doing this though, she had spent most of her energy, which means that this would be the last time she can appear in Moon's consciousness.

Yue looked at her sleeping sister. They never met in real life but fate tied them together in death. Since they're not really close, she didn't know how to talk to her once she woke up so she decided to leave silently. But knowing that she will never see her again, Yue can't help but feel discomforted. But the dead should leave without regret. 

She has Moon to take care of their brother Yyan. And her dreams were also fulfilled through her. Yue saw the last dress Moon made for the competition and felt the motivation behind it, no doubt it was a masterpiece like never before. She can already peacefully walk out.

"You know it's rude to leave without saying goodbye" maybe because they're twins, Moon was able to determined Yue's intention and gain consciousness just in time before she disappears.

"Got caught" Yue smiled as she faced Moon.

"Hi"

"Hi"

"So… you're leaving for good" Moon was conflicted.

"Yeah. I should've gone earlier, but I already overstayed" a flicker of sadness passed by Yue's eyes.

"No one would complain even if you stay longer" Moon is already calculating the possibility since Yue managed to hold on this long.

"You know how it goes" Yue knows what Moon is thinking, but at this point, it's really impossible.

"Well, but maybe a few moments more won't hurt. Wouldn't you want to try your dress?" Moon said cheekily.

"No way" Yue stared unbelievably.

"Yes way" being exposed to the mysterious power, Moon can feel the will to materialize the dress she made for the competition. In fact, the dress was the completion of the unfinished design draft of Yue. It's not just something to achieve her goal, but also to showcase the heart of their dream.

Yue couldn't explain how she feels at the moment.

She remembered a few times back when she was alive wherein her inspiration hit her peak but it wasn't enough to finish the design she envisioned. She already felt satisfied that Moon finished the design for her and exceeded her expectations, but now she even got to try it.

Moon willed it so she can get the exact details and feel of the dress.

Suddenly Yue was changed regally.

Yue almost shivered by the effect of the dress. The color is a wonder. It's like the clearest lake frozen in ice wherewith the sun strikes through. Different shades of dark icy blue to cool green hue can be viewed from different angles. It gives an additional feeling of melting snow caps giving out cool breeze in the beginning of spring.

It was a halter neck bias cut long gown that accentuates the natural curve of the body but it was made to give a more dignified look than sensual. A one-sided mid length cape was draped on the right side with furry lining secured by a stylish handcrafted button.

But Yue can't help but gasp in surprise when the color of the dress dramatically changed.

Patches of white started appearing.

She panicked at first thinking that something had gone wrong, but in a moment, snowflakes bloom along with the color changes.

Now she's like literally wearing a dress made of snowflakes glimmering like crushed crystals.

Yue excitedly twirled and was amazed how it feels like the first day of winter.

Moon was grinning widely while she silently watched her sister enjoying herself.

Yue, speechless, can only approach her sister and give her a tight hug.

Moon was surprised by Yue's gesture.

You really can't say that the two of them are close.

Their interactions didn't even exceed one hand.

Knowing that Yue will eventually leave for good, Moon felt sad but didn't really feel the grief.

But once they hugged, she felt the real connection between the two of them.

It took a while for Kei to reassure that he plans to do no harm to Yue before he was permitted to approach the site.

But no amount of anticipation had prepared him on seeing Yue's actual condition.

The necklace he was wearing was acting wildly in resonance with the power that is devouring Yue.

In fact, he can also feel the power being attracted to his soul. Unconsciously, he extended his hand as if to grab it, but a force hindered him for doing so.

Surprisingly, Yue suddenly stopped writhing and her complexion was visibly going back to normal.

The security personnel looked at him gratefully, but Kei knew he didn't have a hand on what happened.

Besides, the necklace also stopped reacting.

Like everything that happened is just an illusion.

Not long after, Yue opened her eyes.
