The Days When I’m With You

My eyes squinted at the salesperson. She shuddered in return. However, the cunning look on my face was quickly washed away as I turned around and snuggled into Jin Longwen's arms.

I felt his body stiffening. It seemed he didn't expect me to hug him back and in a clingy way too.

I popped my head out of his embrace. I greeted the man with a wide grin on my face which gained me a bedazzled look from him.

"You're back!" I happily welcome him.

"Yes. Sorry, it took a bit longer." He stroked my hair tenderly. The gaze he had on me was laced with complete indulgence.

"It's okay." I brushed my cheek against his warm hand.

"So, is there anything you like here?" He cradled my shoulder as he laid kisses on my hair.

I threw a sidelong glance at the salesperson who had run away to hide behind the cashier. She pretended to busy herself with who knew what.
