II

I turned the page of my book, not making a sound. I expected for Rainn to insult me for being a bookworm, but I didn't care.

The turtledove soon flew off, and my siblings and I never heard from it. Until one day...

It was February 17. The cold wind began blowing inside the house. Due to the window being open for a while. I got slightly annoyed to Lydia's attempts of 'having fun', So I told her, "I'll have fun if you do two things:"

"Really?" She responded excitedly.

I nodded and said, "First, stop talking to me. Then, just let me read my book in peace."

Lydia lowered her head. "Why don't you try hanging out with Rainn or something?"I said. She then walked away.

I assumed for her to get yelled at by Rainn since the two never really got along and constantly argued with each other. Did I care? Yeah, a little bit. And due to their arguments, it would keep me from reading and concentrating. That's also a reason why I don't like Rainn that much. My two siblings constantly arguing over the tiniest things.

It was the next morning. And I was able to see the small white turtledove on the windowsill again.
