"Anyway, now that you've met my wife, I think we'd better concentrate on what's important" - Kurama said as he gained the attention of Jiraiya and the Naruto of this dimension - "I think it's time for Naruto(2) to learn about Senjutsu."
"I don't think that's a good idea" - Jiraiya replied as he frowned - "He's not ready yet."
"I disagree, he possesses the courage and willpower necessary to learn Senjutsu" - Kurama replied as he looked carefully at his son's counterpart - "What do you say?"
"Do you really think I can learn that Senjutsu thing?" - Naruto(2) asked as he looked at the white-haired Uzumaki.
"I gain nothing by lying to you" - replied Kurama calmly.
"Ero Sennin, I want to try" - said Naruto(2) seriously as he looked at the sage of Mount Myoboku.
"Naruto, this is serious" - replied Jiraiya as he looked at his godson with a serious expression - "Practicing Senjutsu is something that not everyone can do, more with all the risks involved."
"Is it that dangerous?" - Naruto(2) asked in surprise.
"At worst, you will end up becoming a toad statue if you fail your training" - Jiraiya answered seriously.
Naruto(2) was silent for a few seconds with a complicated expression, but calmed down when he felt a hand on his shoulder - "Kurama-san?"
"If it makes you feel better, I'll be there to make sure nothing happens to you" - Kurama replied with a smile.
"Really?" - Naruto(2) asked excitedly as he felt a strange sensation with his interaction with Kurama.
"Sure" - nodded Kurama as he looked at the boy. He was indeed treating Naruto(2) as if he was his son.
"Thank you, Tousan!" - Naruto exclaimed obliviously, only to blush when he heard what he had said - "Sorry!"
"Relax" - replied Kurama with a smile as he put his hand in Naruto(2)'s hair - "One more son wouldn't bother me, much less when you're Kushi-chan's son."
". . ." - Naruto(2) shivered slightly before nodding weakly.
Jiraiya watched all of this in silence as he felt conflicting emotions, after all, it felt strange that his godson would develop this kind of fatherly relationship with a man he had just met, though after seeing everything he had been through, it was obvious that he wanted a family with all his might.
"I think it's about time we contact Mount Myoboku to inform them about the start of the training" - Kurama said while Naruto(2) nodded firmly - "Hmm, I think that won't be necessary anymore."
"What do you mean?" - Jiraiya asked, but answered himself as he saw a couple of small smokescreens appear in front of them - "Jiraiya-chan! We have important news!"
"Ma? Pa? What are you guys doing here?" - Jiraiya asked in surprise.
"We've come to inform you that the prophecy has changed drastically!" - Fukasaku exclaimed, but his expression changed when he noticed the other white-haired man - "Jubi-sama!"
"I guess Gamamaru-dono had a new vision" - said Kurama as he nodded upon hearing how the toad was calling him.
"Uh" - the two old toads looked at each other not knowing what to say, after all, Gamamaru was a secret that only a few were privy to.
"Relax, I know him, at least in my dimension" - Kurama replied as he looked at the two toads because he knew what they were thinking - "But well, I think you have something to talk to Jiraiya about."
"Sorry, Jubi-sama" - Fukasaku and Shima replied as they grabbed Jiraiya and pulled him away from the group.
"What could they be talking about?" - Naruto(2) wondered as he cocked his head in confusion.
"On nothing important" - Kurama replied with a calm smile, after all, the toad prophecy wasn't something he really cared about.

"In the midst of Chaos, the Light will shine more brightly" - Gamamaru murmured as he slowly closed his eyes - "The child of the prophecy, accompanied by his faithful companion of Nine Tails, will be aided by a being of immense power."
"[Ten Tails] are approaching from the horizon, [Ten Tails] will show the way, what decision will you make, Child of Prophecy?" - Gamamaru continued as he slowly opened his clouded eyes - "Will you watch over the safety of your world as the prophecy says, or will you turn your back on them so that you may achieve that which you have sought so long?"
Gamamaru was silent for a few seconds before his vision changed again - "So many changes, so many choices, right now I'm not sure if the appearance of the Jubi is a blessing or a curse."
A group of old toads appeared in front of Gamamaru and looked at him with concern.
"I'm fine, it's just that observing so many futures has made me tired" - Gamamaru said as he looked out the window of his home - "What does your presence mean, Jubi no Kitsune-sama?"
"We have returned, Ojiji-sama" - said Fukasaku as he looked at the old sage of Mount Myoboku - "We have already informed Jiraiya about the changes in the prophecy."
"Good job, my friend" - Gamamaru replied as he turned his gaze to his student - "You may retire, though I recommend you to prepare yourself because you will have a new student"
"As you say, Ojiji-sama" - replied Fukasaku as he left the room.
"You may also retire" - Gamamaru continued as he looked around - "It's time for me to take a little break."

"And that's the last report, Orochimaru-sama" - said Kabuto as he knelt before his master with a serious expression.
"Interesting" - muttered Orochimaru as he narrowed his eyes - "How true do you think this news is?"
"False, my lord" - Kabuto answered seriously - "They can't be alive, after all, you haven't done it."
"True, but that doesn't mean that this news delivered to us by our informant from Konoha, are false" - replied Orochimaru as he started to think - "And if what Danzo said is true, then they must have come from another dimension"
"Another dimension?" - Kabuto asked as his eyes widened in surprise.
"Exactly, another dimension" - repeated Orochimaru as a huge smile appeared on his face - "And if this is true, then things are much better than I thought."
That Kushina and Mikoto were alive, and more importantly, with children, made the candidates for his ultimate body that much greater.
"What is it you want me to do, Orochimaru-sama?" - Kabuto asked as he lowered his gaze.
"Nothing for now" - replied Orochimaru with disdain - "Let Danzo test the waters before we make a move, after all, we have no information about the man accompanying them, much less his power level."
"As you command, Orochimaru-sama" - Kabuto replied as he disappeared from the room.
"It is impolite to eavesdrop on others' conversations, Sasuke-kun" - Orochimaru said as his youngest student appeared in front of him.
"I'm a ninja, Orochimaru" - Sasuke replied with disdain - "My job is to get information."
"True, but let's leave that for another time" - Orochimaru said calmly - "Tell me, what do you think of the news that just reached us?"
"I don't know how true that information about dimensional travel is, but what I can assure you is that my mother is dead" - Sasuke answered coldly - "I saw her die in front of my eyes. I watched as she fell limp on the ground, as Itachi mercilessly killed her along with my father."
"I see" - Orochimaru nodded, but his expression changed when he noticed how Sasuke retreated silently - "Where are you going, Sasuke-kun?"
"I'm going to Konoha" - Sasuke replied coolly as he gave Orochimaru a glare with his Sharingan active - "I'm going to kill that woman regardless of her identity."
"Oh? What's your reason for doing so?" - Orochimaru asked curiously.
"If she's fake, I'm going to kill her for using my mother's face" - replied Sasuke as his eyes glittered with malice - "And if she's real, then I'm going to kill her so that my conviction will stand firm."
"An interesting answer" - Orochimaru replied as he watched Sasuke disappear from the scene - "Well, I guess I will now investigate on these new possible targets"
Orochimaru had decided to investigate the unknown children first because it was possible that he would find a much more compatible target for his plans there than his violent student, after all, he was beginning to feel Sasuke's power grow considerably with each passing day, making his plans increasingly unstable.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" - Kisame asked as he looked at his teammate - "Deidara and Sasori are about to attack Suna to capture the Ichibi."
"You can go if you wish" - Itachi replied neutrally.
"Don't even think about it" - Kisame snorted as he gave his partner a thumbs up - "We're a team, Itachi, so I don't plan on leaving you behind."
Itachi gave Kisame a look before shaking his head. There were times when he couldn't understand what was going through his partner's mind.
