"Kushina!" - Onoki roared as he saw how he had been captured by the Uzumaki woman's sturdy chains, and couldn't move a muscle.

"You didn't think it would end like this, did you?" - Kushina asked disdainfully as she waved her hands and tightened her grip on his chains even more - "Well, it's a pity that things didn't turn out as one wishes."

Onoki gritted his teeth as he watched his granddaughter run in his direction.

"Grandfather!" - Kurotsuchi exclaimed as he saw how Onoki had been captured.

Kushina quickly retracted her chains and moved the old Tsuchikage in his direction to prevent accidents.

"Let go of my grandfather!" - Kurotsuchi roared as she ran to the red-haired woman.

"We're in a war, girl" - replied Kushina as she looked at this dimension's version of Kurotsuchi, a pity they weren't on the same side - "When a person is captured, everything ends unless we manage to agree about his rescue, but the thing changes when the captured is the leader of the enemy forces, don't you think so too, old man?"

"Fuck you" - Onoki growled coldly, only to groan in pain as he felt his face hit the ground - "Ugh."

"Didn't your mother tell you that you shouldn't insult a lady, more so when the said woman has your life in her hands?" - Kushina asked neutrally as she grabbed the old Tsuchikage by the head and looked him straight in the eyes.

"F-fuck you" - growled Onoki again, only to groan in pain as he felt the binding of Kushina's chains begin to drain his chakra - "Ugh."

"Grandpa!" - Kurotsuchi exclaimed in terror as he bit his lip - "What do you want to return my grandfather?"

"That's an interesting question" - replied Kushina as she started to think - "Let's see, what is it that I wish for?"

Kurotsuchi watched the red-haired woman with hatred, but her expression changed when she saw Kushina retreating at high speed next to her grandfather - "!"

"That wasn't a bad plan, too bad I possess keen senses." - Kushina said as she noticed how the ground opened up right where it had been before - "Next time you try to do that kind of move, keep your opponent's abilities in mind."

"Shit" - muttered the Iwa shinobi who had appeared from the hole, only to stare in terror at the red-haired woman because they understood what would happen now that they had failed in their rescue attempt.

"We'll talk later, for now, let's have a little conversation with your Tsuchikage" - Kushina said as she disappeared from the spot along with Onoki.

"Shit!" - Kurotsuchi roared as she gave a firm stomp to the ground to show the hatred and fury she felt, although she quickly calmed down because she knew it wasn't the time to lose her head, not when her grandfather's life was in danger - "Come back, we have to prepare for negotiations!"

The Iwa shinobi looked once more at Konoha before following Kurotsuchi's instructions, after all, she was second in command of the operation.

Orochimaru, who had prepared to attack, stood in place when he saw how Onoki had been captured - "This complicates things a lot, and it doesn't help that we have no news from Danzo."

"Sir, we have bad news" - said an Oto shinobi as he bowed his head - "We have news that Danzo has been captured and will soon be sentenced to death for treason."

"How did that happen?!" - Orochimaru exclaimed in surprise because he never thought things would change so quickly.

"We're not sure, sir" - replied the Otonin as he continued with his head down. What Orochimaru didn't notice, was that the eyes that were being covered by the shinobi's hair were glowing slightly when he said these words.

"Let's retreat, this invasion was a failure" - muttered Orochimaru, who had a bad feeling.

"Hai!" - Oto's shinobi exclaimed, though, to Orochimaru's misfortune, the bad news was still not over - "Emergency! They're attacking us from the rear!"

"!" - Orochimaru's expression changed, more as he felt how his body seemed to have frozen - "What's happening?!"

"Your end" - replied a voice he immediately recognized.

"Sasuke-kun" - Orochimaru said, only feeling something cold on his neck. Slowly, he felt himself begin to lose consciousness as he watched his body fall to the ground limply.

The soldier who had given the report was quickly enveloped by a curtain of smoke that when it disappeared, showed Sasuke's form.

Orochimaru had an expression of terror and confusion on his face, but the Uchiha didn't seem to mind in the slightest.

Sasuke quickly grabbed Orochimaru's head as he used his Amaterasu to burn the Renegade Sannin's body to prevent him from surviving - "I guess with that my job is done, now I just have to go back to Konoha so Tsunade can hold up her end of the bargain."

Kurama had managed to make a deal with Konoha, he would train Sasuke so that the young man would kill Orochimaru and give his head to the current Hokage, with that they would tell the citizens and shinobi that Sasuke went to Oto as an infiltrator so that he could kill the traitor Sannin and thus regain his 'honor' without needing to cause so much trouble.

Sasuke quickly disappeared from the scene as Naruto and the others appeared in the area so they could dispatch the remaining shinobi.

Naruto glanced at Sasuke before running over to where the enemies were and starting fighting. He knew that the teammate who had been following them was nothing more than a clone, so he wasn't surprised to see black flames burn the body of one of Oto's shinobi.

"What do we do, Naruto?" - Sakura asked as she looked at her partner with concern.

Naruto(2) took a breath of air before turning serious - "No mercy."

The rookies eyes widened in surprise when they heard this because they expected such cold words from their blond friend.

"During my training with Tousan, I mean, with Kurama-san, he made me see that to be merciful to my enemies, is to endanger my loved ones" - Naruto(2) said while looking at Sakura with concern - "That's why I decided that I would only give a new chance to people who truly deserve it, to those who acted badly for reasons unrelated to them."

Ino, Tenten, Sakura, Hinata, and Lee, just shook their heads while Neji, Shikamaru, and Kiba nodded firmly. Choji decided not to express his opinion, but at the same time, he knew that his friend's words were true so he didn't hesitate to attack.

Sasuke nodded as he listened to Naruto and saw how he had matured with just a little care from a functional family.

Naruto(2) began to breathe more and more calmly as the rookies felt his presence begin to fade.

After a few seconds, Naruto(2) opened his eyes, revealing yellow eyes with strange toad pupils and orange pigmentation around the eyes.

Sasuke watched this intrigued because he never thought his friend would master Sennin Modo (Sage Mode) so quickly, after all, he had been having trouble with controlling it for the past few days.

"You smell like toads and plants, Naruto" - Kiba said as he looked at his friend, though he could feel how his power had grown considerably.

Naruto(2) ignored his friend as he ran against the Oto shinobi so he could prevent them from causing harm to the villagers of Konoha.

The others looked at each other before nodding and running in the direction where their friend was headed, after all, they couldn't let him do all the work alone.

"Should we go help them, Kurotsuchi-sama?" - An Iwa shinobi asked as he watched the Konoha forces attack their 'allies'.

"No, we can't do anything unusual, not with the old man in their hands" - Kurotsuchi replied neutrally - "Let Oto take care of their problems, after all, they never came to our aid when we were attacked."

"As you command, Kurotsuchi-sama" - replied the Iwa shinobi while shaking his head.

"Remember to prepare everything for negotiations" - Kurotsuchi replied seriously.

"Hai!" - Iwa's shinobi exclaimed seriously as he retreated.

Kurotsuchi was silent as she watched the Konoha shinobi quickly dispatch all the Oto shinobi they could find, leaving only a few to escape, and then return to their village - "It looks like something happened in Konoha."

Kurotsuchi slowly turned to look at Naruto and the other rookies, only to frown as she recognized the Kyubi's Jinchuriki, though she did nothing to try to attack him because she knew when not to do something stupid like sneaking into the enemy ranks.

"Kurotsuchi-sama, we are ready to retreat and send an ambassador to Konoha to negotiate Onoki-sama's release" - said the Iwa shinobi as he returned to Kurotsuchi's side.

"Okay, let's go" - Kurotsuchi replied as she decided to ignore Konoha for now, after all, Konoha's problems, had nothing to do with her.
