Four hours later, Kurama was sitting quietly, waiting for something to happen.
The [Shichibukai] were each minding their own business.
Gekko Moriah was devising how to set up a haunted park on his ship as he instructed his subordinates to move all the classified material to a specific area of the [Thriller Bark].
Mihawk was resting with his back pressed against a wall, waiting as was Kurama.
Kuma was quietly reading a book.
Doflamingo was talking over [Den den Mushi] to his subordinates to start preparing for a huge deal.
As for the navy forces, they were tense because [Shirohige] would appear at any moment.
"That bunch of incompetents doesn't seem to be taking this seriously" - Akainu said neutrally as he saw the expression of his "aides".
"You couldn't expect more from a group of misfits" - snorted a vice-admiral with disdain.
"Ironically, we need the help of these misfits" - Kisaru replied neutrally.
"Don't even remind me" - said Sengoku with a frown.
He, like Akainu, was not happy with the idea of having to use the pirates as outside agents because it made them look weak before the [Yonko], but to his regret, his opinion did not count before the [World Government].
Garp, for his part, just kept silent, although if he was honest, he had mixed emotions about this proposal. On the one hand, he was not happy about using his enemies as mercenaries, but on the other hand, he was happy because he knew that not all pirates were bad as the [absolute justice] said, his grandson was more than enough proof.
Luffy had traveled around the different islands helping the residents, he had even managed to save the princess of [Arabasta] and stopped an attempted usurpation of the throne by one of the [Shichibukai].
"Sir, we have news that the prisoner Ace is about to arrive at [Marineford]" - said a marine with a neutral expression.
"Perfect, I want you to prepare to let the cameramen pass" - said Sengoku as he started giving orders.
The [World Government] had ordered them to broadcast live Ace's execution, a situation similar to the death of his father. With this, they would let the world know that about their stance against piracy, as well as send a warning to all bastards who crossed the line.
Sengoku was not happy about this because it put the navy in a much more awkward place before the world.
Garp gave his friend a sympathetic look, after all, this was one of the reasons he had refused to be promoted.
The higher the rank, the more contact they had with the [World Government] and the [Celestial Dragons].
"Okay, start the operation" - Sengoku said seriously.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, straw hat?" - asked Buggy as he looked at his former enemy, only to frown - "We're heading for the wolf's mouth."
"I agree with the clown, this is crazy" - said Olive as she folded her arms, noticing how all the prisoners were looking at her with lust, after all, they hadn't seen such a beautiful woman in years.
"Calm down, remember what happened to the last asshole who couldn't control his crotch" - Olive said as she pointed to a man who was unconscious with a pained expression on his face and a strange smoke coming out of his nether regions.
The men shivered slightly when they saw this as they looked at each other with concern.
None of them knew how she had done it.
"Relax, I have a plan," Luffy said proudly.
"That's a huge merit knowing he's an idiot" - Crocodile said disdainfully as Buggy nodded firmly - "So what's the plan?"
"Get in, save Ace, and get out" - Luffy answered seriously.
"I don't know why I bother to expect anything from this idiot" - Crocodile muttered as he sighed regretfully.
"This is so Luffy-chan" - said Bentham, or better known as Bon Clay.
"I just worry that his stupidity is contagious" - said Buggy as he snorted in disdain.
The other crew members nodded as they heard Buggy's words of sarcasm.
"I understand why some of us are helping this idiot, but why are you helping him?" - Crocodile asked as he looked at the lime green-haired woman.
"Let's just say he knows where my real rescuer is" - replied Olive with a dreamy look - "Not to mention that close to him, we're safer."
"Him?" - Buggy asked while raising an eyebrow - "Is there someone else orchestrating all this?"
"It makes sense, I mean, I don't think Mugiwara is that smart to pull this off" - said Crocodile as they all looked in the direction of the aforementioned, only to notice how he was asleep standing up - "As I was saying, I'd like to know who is this blissful rescuer who helped our escape?"
"According to what Luffy told me, his name is Kurama" - Olive answered confused because she didn't know much about the white-haired man.
"Kurama!" - Buggy exclaimed in terror when he heard that name as the memory of [Loguetown] came to his mind, especially its oppressive aura.
"Do you know who he is?" - Crocodile asked as he frowned.
"I'm sure you know him as the [Emperor]" - Buggy replied as he looked at the former [Shichibukai] - "You know, the man who conquered Hancock?"
"Oh, him" - nodded Crocodile as he shook his head - "I did a little research on him, and he's not that dangerous."
"It's a good thing you don't know much about him" - Buggy said disdainfully - "I was in his presence for a while, and I have to warn you that he's a monster, one I honestly wouldn't like to see again"
"You're weak, so I wouldn't be surprised" - said Crocodile neutrally.
"I'm telling you as someone who traveled with Roger, I've seen and met people you would never think existed" - Buggy said seriously.
"You were alongside Captain Roger!" - exclaimed a pirate with surprise and excitement, after all, in front of him was a living legend.
"Yes, and next to that idiot Shanks" - growled Buggy as he remembered the red-haired idiot - "God, just remembering the things we did during our younger years, makes me furious!"
"God, not only was he in Gol D. Roger's crew, but he's also friends with the [Yonko] [Akagami no Shanks]" - muttered another pirate as he looked at Buggy excitedly.
Slowly, everyone began to feel a huge admiration for the clown pirate, not noticing how Crocodile was looking at them with disdain.
Buggy's words might have been true, but he wasn't as good as these idiots claimed, although it wasn't his problem. He just wanted to get to the place and kill [Shirohige], that would get him back to the top.
Olive slowly walked over to Luffy and moved him to wake him up, they were about to get to the [Justice Gate] connecting [Impel Down] to [Marineford] and needed a way to open them.
"Huh? What's wrong?" - Luffy asked in confusion.
"We have a huge problem, one that we need a solution to as quickly as possible" - said Olive as she pointed towards the huge metal gate.
"We just need to open it" - said Luffy with a frown.
"I don't think you understand, Luffy-boy, those gates are not only guarded by elite marines but it's armed with hundreds of cannons" - said Emporio Ivankov, the Okama king, as well as one of the cadres of the [Revolutionary Army].
"Relax, I'll handle it" - said Jinbe seriously as he prepared to jump into the sea.
"We'll help you" - said a Gyojin pirate as they jumped after their idol and leader.
"Come on, we have to help [Shirohige] and save Ace, remember everything they have done for our home" - said Jinbe as he looked at his comrades - "We owe them."
The Gyojin looked at each other earnestly as they nodded firmly.
They may have hated a large part of humanity, but they had a huge feeling of gratitude for [Shirohige] and his crew, after all, they had been protecting them for years, and without needing to ask for something for their protection.
"Let's go" - said Jinbe as the group of Gyojin jumped into the sea with serious expressions.
"Good luck, guys" - Olive said as she watched the Gyojin possibly go to their deaths.

Kurama slowly opened his eyes, as did Mihawk who stood on guard.
The others [Shichibukai] quickly went on guard because if those two moved, it only meant one thing.
"They're close" - said Kurama as he watched the sailors drag Ace to the podium where he would live out his last minutes of life - "It's a pity that boy didn't succeed in his mission."
"It's time to start with the trial of the criminal Ace!" - Sengoku exclaimed as he walked beside the prisoner - "The offenses the criminal has done are as follows, minor and major piracy, attack against authority, murder, arson, and finally, being the son of [Pirate King] Gol D. Roger"
