Extra 19: Change the World (42)

Two days later, Kurama was in front of the well next to Kagome, who was looking at Kikyo wearing the same school uniform as her - "I still think we are so different despite being so alike."

"Relax, Kurama-dono already foreseen this" - Kikyo said as she put a strange talisman on her clothes.

Kagome raised an eyebrow, though her expression changed to one of surprise when she saw Kikyo's appearance change slightly - "Wow, now you really do look like me."

Kikyo didn't respond, she just looked at Kagome with boredom.

"W-Well, I think we better go back to the past, we'll be back I don't know in how long, but you don't have to worry, mom, Kurama-san will protect me" - Kagome said with a smile.

"Ok, I know, you don't have to give me so many excuses" - said Kimi with a little smile - "Good luck, my little one".

"I'll be careful, mom" - smiled Kagome before jumping into the well.

Kurama said goodbye to the Higurashi family before jumping into the well behind the girl along with Shippo.

"I guess it's time for us to go get things done" - said Kimi as she looked at the woman wearing her daughter's appearance.

"Ok" - nodded Kikyo as she thought about the strange situations she would experience in the present, though honestly she was excited because this would be something she never would have thought of doing.

"They took longer than I thought," Kaede said as she watched as Kagome and Kurama had appeared at home.

"I'd like to stay and talk, but I have a lot of things to do" - Kurama said as he handed Kagome an orb before disappearing.

"I guess he doesn't want to see Inuyasha" - said Kaede as she shook her head.

"Yes" - nodded Kagome as she watched as the Hanyo boy sat on a tree branch with an annoyed expression because Kurama had ignored him., though honestly this was a good thing because he didn't want to talk to the ten-tailed Kitsune

"I see you're still training like I told you to" - Kurama said with a huge smile seeing how Yura was improving her control.

"Kurama-sama!" - Yura exclaimed with excitement.

"I'm sorry for leaving you" - smiled Kurama as he touched the girl's forehead - "Well, let me see how much you've improved"

"Ok" - nodded Yura as she closed her eyes and took a breath to calm down. She slowly let her Youki flow as Kurama nodded calmly - "Good?"

"Perfect, though I still need to do some experiments to give you your body" - Kurama said as he started to think - "As for your power, it's already similar to that of a Daiyokai, though that's because you still have my energy inside you"

"Your energy?" - Yura repeated in surprise.

"Yes, did you not notice it?" - Kurama asked in surprise - "Look, raise your arm."

Yura quickly followed his instructions, only to see how a blue aura surrounded her hand - ". . ."

"Relax, this energy only accelerates the growth of your Youki" - said Kurama noticing the darkened look of the Yokai woman.

"I don't understand" - Yura muttered with a frown.

"It's like I said, my energy rapidly increases your natural Youki, but at the same time it's like a huge increase in your reserves, you can consider it as an external accumulation of energy" - replied Kurama while shaking his head - "Back to the point, I can't give you a body yet because I need to do some experiments to make sure everything will be okay"

"I understand" - nodded Yura as he looked at his master.

"Well, I'm going to have to leave for now, I'll be back when I have everything ready to give you your body, although I'm going to have to ask you to continue fulfilling the mission I gave you" - said Kurama while sighing as he saw the annoyed look on the Yokai woman's face.

"I understand, you don't have to say more, Kurama-sama" - replied Yura as she nodded weakly.

"I'm sorry" - Kurama said before disappearing from the place.

Yura took a long breath before continuing with her training, only this time, she started to check her Youki reserves, so she could check how true her master's words about the training results were. She slowly closed her eyes as she felt the flow of the strange energy inside her, and although it was powerful, it was minimal compared to her Youki - "It's like he said..."

Yura smiled slightly before returning to the training, only this time she concentrated on the energy Kurama had left inside her, so she could move it around her entire body because she could feel how it, despite being fake, was slightly strengthened - "Impressive, this energy not only increases my Youki reserves, but also strengthens my body, as one would expect from Kurama-sama..."

"Thank you so much for protecting me all this time" - Izumi said with a small smile.

"It's the least we can do for the person who saved my younger brother's life, although I still want to ask you if you're really okay" - Sango answered seriously - "I know the poison wasn't very potent, but it's better if you take one more day to rest"

"No, I'm in perfect condition" - replied Izumi while shaking her head - "When I meet my father again, I'm going to have to ask him to train my body to better resist the poisons, because I didn't think that during these days the poison again started to affect my body."

"I'm sorry we didn't have any way to help you" - sighed Kohaku as he looked at the beautiful Kitsune girl.

"No, you did more than enough to help me" - said Izumi as she shook her head - "If it hadn't been you who were by my side, I might have suffered the attack of people with evil intentions"

"I'm sure that if by some strange coincidence something like that happened, your attackers would be dead long before even approaching your body" - said Sango while remembering the presence of a certain person.

Izumi raised an eyebrow because she didn't understand the demon hunter's words, though she quickly decided to leave that for another time - "Anyway, I'd like to know what you'll do now that all the inhabitants of this village had a dignified burial."

"The truth is I have no idea, I'm just going to follow Ane-ue's decision" - Kohaku answered while looking at Sango.

"The truth is that I would like to go after the bastard who wrecked our village, although I can't do it because I'm afraid that the journey will be too much for you, Kohaku" - Sango said with a frown.

"I'm a demon hunter too, Ane-ue" - Kohaku replied with a frown - "I can defend myself."

"If you want, I can train him while we travel" - Izumi answered while looking at the brown-haired girl.

"We travel?" - repeated Sango, surprised by the Kitsune girl's words.

"Yeah, I have some things to sort out with that guy too" - replied Izumi seriously.

"But how do you plan to train Kohaku if he's not a Yokai?" - Sango asked with a frown.

"Relax, it's just physical and stealth training" - replied Izumi proudly - "I was trained to be a shinobi for as long as I can remember, that was my parents' job, and it was the one I decided to choose."

"Ninja?" - repeated Sango as she looked at the Kitsune girl, surprised by these words, after all, shinobi and demon hunters, were basically the same from many points of view.

"Are you really a ninja?" - Kohaku asked with surprise - "You don't seem to be one, if I'm honest."

"It's because unlike you, I don't need costumes to help me go unnoticed to get the job done" - replied Izumi as she disappeared from the place.

Sango and Kohaku were surprised before looking around the surroundings in search of the Kitsune girl, only to see that she was nowhere to be found.

"Where are you?" - Sango asked as she frowned.

"Right in front of you" - Izumi replied as the two demon hunters watched as a small stone began to move, only for the Kitsune girl to reappear in front of the siblings - "What did you think?"

"That was impressive, though I'm still a little skeptical with the idea of you training Kohaku, after all, he doesn't have your shapeshifting ability" - Sango replied as she folded her arms.

"As I said, what I will teach him is physical training, stealth and how to fight" - Izumi replied as she shook her head - "All that has nothing to do with my mystical abilities."

Sango was silent before nodding - "Ok, you can train him, although I still don't want him to be in the middle of our operations, after all, he's the only family I have left, and I don't want to lose him."

Kohaku looked down before nodding - "Ok, I'm not going to get in your way, Ane-ue."

"Ok, you can come, although I'm going to ask you to follow all my instructions" - Sango said seriously - "And if I tell you to run away, that's what you'll do, is that clear?"

"Like glass" - Kohaku replied as he nodded.
