A week had passed since the arrival of the girls and the Succubus, time that they had decided to stay with the Uzumaki clan for different reasons, the most predominant being the feeling of familiarity.
Kurama had managed to contact his other self, the lover of the three girls, only to hear how he didn't seem to remember them. This caused deep pain for Wiz, Darkness and Luna, and enormous confusion in Kurama because this did not make sense. He asked a few more questions before cutting off the call.
"What do you think, Kurama?" - Kaguya asked as she watched Kushina hug the girls.
"I really don't know what to say," Kurama replied as he shook his head, "No matter how you look at it, dimensional will shouldn't cause that kind of effect on my other self, unless this one is much stronger than we think..."
"Maybe we should talk to an expert" - Kaguya said while looking at her husband - "Now the question would be, where to find such an expert."
Kurama started tapping his desk with his index finger before letting out a sigh - "I don't know, but I have a hypothesis..."
"Ho ~? Please continue" - Kaguya said as she listened intently to her husband's words.
"It's too much of a coincidence that this is happening at the same time, just at the moment when I finished digesting the power of the will of this dimension" - said Kurama as he revealed an impressive secret - "That's why I want to believe that this is a self-defense system"
"Self-defense system?" - Kaguya repeated as she waited for him to continue.
"Exactly, think about it.... What would have happened if I hadn't gone to other dimensions?" - Kurama asked as he looked at his immortal wife.
"Possibly, you would have tried to find another form of immortality for our family" - replied Kaguya as she thought more carefully - "The fruit of the Shinju..."
"Exactly" - said Kurama as he handed her a rather old scroll.
Kaguya started reading it and opened her eyes, surprised by the content - "Is this for real?"
"Yes, that was my first plan, I call it the Genesis project" - replied Kurama as he took the document and burned it - "Basically it consisted of turning me into a slave, so I could have the chance to harvest enough chakra fruits to convert the others"
"The thing is, it's not necessary now" - Kurama said while shaking his head - "All this because I managed to come to this dimension and find a way to change the race of our family, that, together with the fact that I devoured the consciousness of this dimension to free myself from my bindings, made the other consciousnesses sense the danger, causing a reboot so that my other selves wouldn't go by another path, which means that I just condemned the life my other existences..."
"I hate the multiverse theory for matters like this" - Kaguya growled regretfully - "I'm sorry, Kurama."
"No, I'm the one who feels deep remorse" - sighed Kurama as he pounded his desk so hard that it turned it to dust - "If it weren't for my drastic actions, my other realities wouldn't be undergoing such horrible changes. I guess I owe Wiz-san and the others an apology, possibly also to all the people who come later on..."
Kaguya was silent before sighing regretfully - "I guess they all came to this dimension because it's the only safe place with a free Kurama."
"It's ironic that the safest place, is the source of all their dangers" - Kurama said with a sad smile.
"We're still not sure, Kurama" - replied Kaguya seriously - "You don't have to feel bad for trying to save yourself, we're not martyrs, none of our versions are, and I'm sure they would have made the same decision as you"
"I don't dispute that, the problem is that I am now aware of the result of my actions" - said Kurama while shaking his head - "So I have no choice but to accept the consequences, as well as the hatred of my guests."
"Kurama, you are being unfair to yourself" - sighed Kaguya as she walked to her husband and caressed his cheek - "You are not to blame for all of this, the guilty ones are the dimensional consciousnesses that wanted to restrict everything for their survival."
Kurama didn't respond to this, he just walked to where the girls from the other dimension were gathered, after all, it was better to be honest with them because technically they were his partners.
And just as he had thought, shit hit the fan when he told them about his hypothesis to Luna and the others.
Luna yelled at him angrily as she slapped him hard, Wiz remained silent while Darkness simply shook his head before walking away.
Kurama stood alone inside that silent room before letting out a sigh, perhaps a few more days might do the trick to calm the three women down.

"Kurama-san, may I come in?" - Wiz asked as she knocked on his office door, surprising the ten-tailed Kitsune, after all, he hadn't expected the ex-Lich to come so soon to see him, not when it had been a few hours since he had revealed the reason for his such a drastic departure from his former dimension.
"Come in" - Kurama said as he watched the door open, revealing the beautiful brown-haired young woman - "I didn't expect to see you so soon."
"I know, I don't get it either" - Wiz replied as she walked in front of the Kitsune and sat on a nearby chair - "I thought I would be more furious with you for what you did, but after thinking about it more calmly, I came to the conclusion that you didn't know either"
"No, had I known, I would have resisted the desire to devour the consciousness of this dimension" - Kurama replied as he shook his head.
"I know, you're too kind to cause this kind of damage, though this led me to a new conclusion" - Wiz said seriously - "If it wasn't you, it's quite possible that another version of you would have done it, ending in the same result"
Kurama was silent before nodding regretfully, after all, this possibility still existed, and honestly, he wouldn't like to be separated from his children, even if he would forget them.
"That's why you don't have to feel guilty, this only happened because that's how the stupid fate planned it" - Wiz said with a small smile - "I'm sure the other two will come to this conclusion, after all, they're not stupid, or even possible they're listening to us right now, right, Luna-san, Darkness?"
The door opened, revealing the two blonde women, who looked with annoyance at Wiz.
"Why did you reveal us, Wiz-san?" - Luna asked with annoyance.
Kurama was surprised to see the other two guests because it was obvious that this was too soon.
"I'm sorry I hit you, it's just that I let my emotions get the best of me" - sighed Luna as she looked worriedly at the Kurama of this dimension.
"No, you were well within your rights to hit me, after all, I was the one responsible for ruining your lives" - replied Kurama as he shook his head.
"You're wrong, you didn't ruin our lives, we just moved homes" - Darkness replied with a small smile - "I'm sure Luna and Wiz think the same as me, after all, you're just like our Kurama."
Kurama was silent as he watched the three women smile at his incredulous look.
"Mind you, don't expect us to sleep with you so soon" - Luna snorted as she turned around and walked out of the room.
"She needs a little more time" - smiled Wiz as she walked after her friend.
"You can do whatever you want with me, I'll be waiting for it with open arms ~" - grinned Darkness as she walked behind the other two.
"That was weird" - muttered Kurama as he shook his head.
"At least things went well, don't you think so too, Kurama-san?" - A female voice asked.
Kurama's expression changed as he didn't detect the newcomer, proving that her sneaking ability was equal or even superior to his.
"It is a pleasure to meet the Kurama of this dimension" - said the woman as she appeared in front of the ten-tailed Kitsune. She was a beautiful lady with purple hair combed into a ponytail, chocolate skin and beautiful golden orbs above her small nose.
"Who are you?" - Kurama asked as he looked down, noticing a tight black leotard that left nothing to the imagination.
The woman smiled slightly as she nodded in the direction of the silver haired man - "My name is Yoruichi, and just like those three, I come from another dimension."
Kurama was silent before letting out a sigh - "I guess you know everything?"
"Indeed" - nodded Yoruichi as he started to think - "My companions do too, although we'd better leave that for another time, because we have a much bigger problem to talk about, and that's that we didn't come alone"
Kurama's expression changed when this was heard because what he feared the most happened. These women had arrived together with their children.
