Kenny Loves His Wisdom

Kenny has asked himself many deep and confusing questions lately. When does life begin? What exactly is life? What does it take to have a happy life? For this last question, the answer for Kenneth Ian Samuels is Wisdom. He needs Wisdom to have a happy life. And all that matters to him is that she has life and love for him.

After the ceremony, they move Wisdom's things back into Kenny's home. And Kenny finds himself holding her as she takes a nap. His father sits on the edge of the bed to speak to him.

"Some would say that I'm not real because I'm a clone of the man I called father. That I'm just a copy with no life of my own."

"That's not true, Pop," Kenny responds as his hand rest on Wise's belly.

"No it's not," agrees Henry Samuels. "And the same holds true for this incredible woman, who is now your wife.

Your mother and I were very worried about you. You clung to your toy like a toddler to a security blanket, failing to form real attachments with people. We finally decided trying to get you to give up your security blanket wasn't the way. So instead of having you give it up, we remade it for you, gave it life."

"You don't have to explain, Pop. I get it," Kenny can feel their future child move within Wise's womb. "And thank you. Thank you very much. I love her. I love my Wisdom."
