Now We Have 9...Great

After waiting for 40 minutes and with no one else leaving William just whispered to Chloe and Bear that if they wanted to stay with him they better keep up or they would lose him. He then took off running again before they could say anything, Chloe, Bear, the mystery man and 6 others all started running after him trying to keep up as best they could. After following him as best they could through twisting roads and paths the 6 other followers lost sight of them and after another few turns had gotten themselves completely lost and confused about where they could have gone. Now that they weren't being followed, William took them all back to the office building they had stayed in these last few days. When they all got there Bear immediately ran straight upstairs and into 1 of the many rooms and didn't come out. William and the others followed him and when they pushed the door open they saw him curled up on the floor beside the small child who surprise surprise...was asleep clutching that same knife.

William shepherded them all back out of the room except Bear, before turning back to them.

"Yeah just don't ask, the knife is a weird thing but none of us want to try take it off her so it stays. Also I would also suggest taking everything and everyone here with a grain of salt, we aren't exactly what you would expect people to act like during the apocalypse. Although we aren't crazy, we just like to annoy each other. HEY MIDGET MAN YOU HERE OR NOT WE HAVE GUESTS"

After a few seconds Felix walked through another one of the doors but when he sees the mysterious man he walks back through the same door and shouts back to them.

"Nah no thanks, he's too creepy right now. Maybe later but I'm too tired for this that kid is a nightmare she hasn't woken up at all today so I haven't been able to sleep. But now that you're back I can finally get some rest, hey have you seen Annabel and Jack yet they haven't come back from that other building yet but with the kid here I haven't been able to go look for them. Actually you guys can go look for them if you want I'm getting some damn sleep before I pass out."

And with that he was gone, no one wanted to go after him as he did seem very dead on his feet so they all decided to let him sleep for a bit. William groaned as he realised that even though he had just gotten back he would have to go back out and find Annabel and Jack and he couldn't even take Felix with him, he would have to leave someone else here to make sure nothing went wrong while he was away. He decided to leave Chloe there as Bear was already with the girl and he trusted her slightly more than the mystery man so far.

When he told them both this, even though he never said anything about trust they both knew why he was going with William while she was staying here but didn't judge him for it in the slightest it was only natural to be skeptical of him. They said goodbye to Chloe and Bear, and walked back out of the office building once again...

William had been to the other offices more than enough times so they made their way over quite quickly, when they got there everything looked the same from when he was there last except without the zombies. The two of them cautiously walked up to the 7th floor which is where Annabel and Jack would have went to, they got to the floor and could smell the stench of death and dispare that Annabel and Jack could also smell when they first explored the area. They slowly made their way over to the next staircase which unlike Annabel and Jack's exploration wasn't blocked. Before they made their way onto the next floor they could hear an argument taking place, the mystery man didn't recognise any of the voices but William did. Throwing caution to the wind he ran up the stairs to see Annabel and Jack fighting between each other while three other people just stood there awkwardly watching it.

"Seriously you two, I'm away for this long and I come back to you both arguing. You better have a damn good explanation for why or it isn't going to end well I can tell you both now. And who even are these people, I'm guessing they are the ones you spotted up here Annabel?"

When they hear his voice they both spin round to face him and get a sheepish look on their faces.

"Oh...hey William we kinda didn't notice you there hehe...sorry about that but I think me and Jack can agree that we've had a very stressful day so our little argument was just to let off some steam."

"Yeah William for once I have to agree with Annabel on this one...today has certainly been something different. Anyway how did your adventure go and who's this? Your always coming back with random people u swear, although I guess we can't exactly stop you and as long as they help out. A pair of extra hands is always good especially now of all times but seriously like what the hell happened to you this time I seriously didn't expect you to be back so quickly. It sounded like the military was stuck between a rock and a hard place yet here you are already...please tell me you didn't kill them."

Now that they had stopped arguing, they both walked over to William and mystery man. After saying hello to both of them and introducing everyone to each other. William then explained...most of what happened, he may have left a few not so nice details but still gave them the necessary information. Involving a lot of zombies and the military being assholes, and about Bear and Chloe being back in the other offices. Jack and Annabel were completely on board with Bear joining them but not so much with Chloe and especially the mystery man, not knowing someone's name doesn't make them the most trustworthy person around. They also told him about what they had been doing while he was away, granted most of it was answering random questions from that strange man but at least they managed to help the people. William didn't even stop to talk to anyone else as he needed some sleep before he passed out, they all headed back towards the offices and hopefully a decent night's sleep for once. Nobody tried to stop them, as Jack and Annabel had been arguing for quite a while but nobody could get them to stop except him and he didn't even need to do much.

By the time they got back to the offices again, Felix was fast asleep and Bear was still snuggled round the kid. Everyone thought that that was very cute so they decided not to be loud incase they wake up, William grabbed something to eat before telling Jack and Annabel to do something with Chloe and mystery man's sleeping arrangements...and then passed out onto a sleeping bag that he had pulled out just before. Nobody was particularly surprised that he collapsed as he had always been pushing himself to do as much as he can with no self regard for his own safety never mind the toll on his body. As Jack and Annabel were finding places for Chloe and the Mystery man to sleep, outside about half a mile away the group of people who wanted to follow them were still searching for any sign of them.

They had decided that even if they had to force their way into the group, it would be a lot safer than being on their own right now, after they had lost William and his group they decided to just search the nearby area to see if they could find them again or maybe even where they stay. However so far they hadn't had much luck so all they found were dead bodies (human and zombie) and not much else except for the smell. They begrudgingly decided that they had to call it a night and find somewhere to sleep for the night, and besides they didn't think that William's group would leave just yet as why else would he try so hard to get rid of them. They found an abandoned apparent to use and started to get themselves set up and ready to sleep, they didn't put anyone on watch as they hadn't seen any zombies that were still alive since they left the warehouse...

After a few hours of sleep one of the men woke up as he needed to go to the toilet, he went outside so that he didn't wake anyone else up as he knew they all needed sleep and he wasn't a complete ass. He found a...sorta safe spot and got to business doing his thing, except what he couldn't hear was a slow quiet clack of chains against the ground coming closer towards him. By the time he had finished up and was ready to head back inside he was able to faintly hear the noise, he decided that he should go check it out incase it was something important.

Nah he wasn't an idiot he'd seen wayyy to many horror movies to know that you never go off on your own when you hear a creepy sound. So instead he ran back inside and started to wake everyone up...who not surprisingly were quite angry at him until they too heard the creepy clacking noises getting ever so slowly closer to them. Now they had realised that something was seriously wrong so they all started to try and quickly pack all of their stuff and start moving before whatever it is found them. They had just gotten everything packed when they heard a banging on the windows, and after every bang they could hear chains hit the window...

Before they could all get out of the house they heard the crash of the window breaking behind them. When they all managed to escape they started running towards the warehouse hoping that everyone was still alive and would take them back as they had made a terrible mistake. But as they were running they heard the clacking sound again but this time it was infront of them not behind...
