Stuck

Hazel finally found her voice as she continued to dry her husband's hair. "Rough day?"

Will let out a heavy sigh. "You have no idea. I hate cleaning up other people's messes. Four people had to be let go on the spot."

Four people?! Exactly how big of a mistake had they made for that to happen? She didn't dare ask since it didn't seem like he wanted to talk about it. Weariness practically radiated off of him in waves.

Once his hair was as dry as it was going to get from a towel alone, Hazel wrestled with herself internally before placing her hands on Will's shoulders. She was going to try and give him a massage. Didn't massages typically make people feel better?

His shoulders stiffened momentarily before relaxing. She barely caught it but he definitely let out a small satisfied hum.

So this had been a good idea after all. Honestly, she never knew what she was doing when it came to Will. Their entire relationship was so strange that the waters were difficult to navigate.
