There Are Worse Ways To Go

"Where else would you want to go?" Hazel found herself asking.

Will stared out over the horizon. "Anywhere. Everywhere. I'd like to visit every continent someday; I heard they have cruises that go to Antarctica. There are so many countries to visit…and even within the United States there's a lot to see.

"I've been around a bit by myself and, while the things I saw were cool, having you here with me was much better. Your enthusiasm is contagious and you have a lot of insights to share that I never would have thought of on my own. You're the perfect travel companion."

Her heart warmed. No one had ever said anything like this to her before.

Anywhere and everywhere, huh? That sounded nice. Really nice. Hazel wanted to accept his offer so badly but felt like it wouldn't be fair. It would be taking advantage of him if she wasn't honest about her motivations.
