Artist's Alley

The morning of the convention dawned and Hazel wore a red belted dress with a black headband and flats. The articles she had read advised walking up and down Artists Alley to get a feel for what people were buying and see if her art style was compatible.

The only nerdy pieces she had ever done before were commissions on Tumblr. Physical art that people were willing to buy at conventions had to be different somehow.

She ate a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast and very cautiously began making her way down the mountain. She still wasn't a huge fan of driving on these curvy roads. At least she made it to the highway in one piece.

The convention was held downtown in a building called the Salt Palace. Hazel had to pay to park underground in a nearby shopping mall. She had already bought her ticket online so all she had to do was scan a barcode on her phone to pick up her wristband.
