Hazel Dixon thought she was putting her troubled past behind her. But when the person she thought she trusted most betrays her, she loses her head and proposes to an entire bar full of strangers. 

Enter Will Sheffield, a charming stranger who decides to take her up on her offer to save her from herself.

How could this note be here? Hadn't it been lost in the fire? But that was beside the point. This definitely belonged to Billy. Who Will resembled so strongly Hazel had been going crazy on and off wondering if maybe, just maybe…


But why?! She had given him multiple openings to tell her the truth. Her major argument against Will being Billy had been that he wouldn't have kept it from her. How could he do this to her? Did he have any idea how conflicted she had been about this whole thing?


Furious tears filled her eyes. Hazel had bared her soul about her first love and that moron hadn't bothered to tell her it was him. He was probably laughing at her the entire time.


No wonder he understood her better than anyone else. No wonder he knew so much about her. No wonder he had been in love with her right off the bat. No wonder he cared about her art and wanted to travel together. He was the same little boy who had promised to give her the world when they got out of the mental hospital.
