Need

Everything was settled. Hazel didn't seem mad anymore. So why did Will get the horrible feeling that she wasn't going to stay?

He couldn't let her know how obsessive he truly was. How desperately he needed her. Now that he had a taste of what it was like having her, he could never go back to the way things were before.

"Will?" Hazel questioned. "Are you going to let go of me so I can head home?"

A breath he didn't even realize he was holding escaped him. There was nothing to worry about. She was going home, which was a perfectly normal thing to do. But how was he supposed to wait until 6 PM to see her again? To hear that bell-like voice? To possibly be able to hold her in his arms?

He released her immediately. "Sorry."

She rolled her eyes at him. "I'm not going to disappear on you. I really am going home. I'll see you tonight, okay? We can talk some more then. There's a lot to catch up on."
