Hazel Dixon thought she was putting her troubled past behind her. But when the person she thought she trusted most betrays her, she loses her head and proposes to an entire bar full of strangers. 

Enter Will Sheffield, a charming stranger who decides to take her up on her offer to save her from herself. 

He spoils her rotten without expecting anything in return and Hazel's confusion only grows. She doesn't know why he is acting this way. Or why he reminds her so much of the 'dangerous' childhood friend she thought was gone forever...

Hazel in the Demon's Den

Their panel wasn't until after lunch but the people running the convention wanted them there early so there wouldn't be any unforeseen emergencies like being stuck in traffic. This wasn't a problem for the majority of the panel because they were all hardcore geeks.


Everyone had dressed up for the occasion but Hazel and Tyler.


Eva was a superhero. Elise McCann, the author of the superpower novel, appeared to be some anime character based on the color of her wig. Hazel was guessing that entirely based on her last experience at a convention where she was mistaken as one because of her pink hair.


Heather Hutchinson, the artist of the dragonborn comic, was dressed as some sort of fantasy character. Possibly an elf. And Xander was wearing a leather suit with a lot of fake weapons that looked like it might be meant to portray an assassin.
