Hazel in the Demon's Den

Eva had been worried about John. He hadn't seemed like his usual self for weeks. She thought that the stress of job hunting might have gotten to him so she wanted to try and cheer him up.


Not getting texts back from him had set her on edge for some reason. It wasn't like they were anything more than acquaintances with a common goal of protecting Hazel from her husband but she still didn't like the radio silence.


She was oddly disappointed at not hearing from him so she decided to approach him first. And it was a very good thing she did because the man they were worried about happened to be holding him hostage.


At least that was what it looked like to her. They had never met before this according to John so there was absolutely no good reason that Will Sheffield would be in his house.


He was in danger. She could sense he wanted her to hang up the phone but there was no way she would be able to live with herself if she left him to fend for himself when she could help.
