In Trouble

"It's time for some answers, kid.." The old man looked at Max with a menacing smile on his face. He sure had been fooled by a little guy. And that as a Supreme Tier Mage was not a thing to be proud of. He would be turning into a laughing stock, if people ever found out about it.

Max was about to fall into a state of unconsciousness, but the old man wasn't allowing him the easy way out. The next instant, he felt a searing feeling all over his body as if someone had dumped into a pot of boiling oil.

"Uh.." Max gritted his teeth, refusing to scream.

The Old man's face immediately turned dark. He could already understand one thing. Max was going to be a tough nut to crack. If he was so stubborn to not even let out a squeak, one could imagine how hard it was going to get the facts out of him.
