The elders talked back and forth about the agreement."They must conceive a child with in a year. The two must be present at all balls and gatherings. A hunter is always allowed in the home at anytime. All employees and staff files must be ready at all times." Iris just listened to the rambling of the old bats. The two sides not even giving her a say. Akatsuki and her were not property to anyone. The slightly annoyed young woman thought borderline angry. "Iris must also renounced her name as a hunter." that was just cruel and it crossed a line with her. "I would like to say something about the last condition. Is this agreement supposed to be between hunter and vampire? If I renounce my name as a vampire hunter, then what is the point of the marriage exactly. I fully intend to still do my job as a hunter." She said only to have Ichijo state that she would be one of them and have no need to be a hunter. "I am one of you already." She said glaring at him as he glares back at her. "A young woman let alone a wife should do as she is told." He yells only to have her laugh. "and what right do you have to me Ichijo?" She said with a sly snear. Iris left with Headmaster Cross not looking back at the old bastard she knows to be her grandfather.

Iris was getting ready for the wedding nervous about the whole ordeal. She sips on the blood as Ruka Finnished her hair. The girls were talking giving her advice but she couldn't hear any of it. She was so worried about what Takuma and the Ichijo family would do. "You have nothing to fear Iris dear. Your silly fears will melt when you see your husband at the end of the aisle. He has been waiting for this day since it was announced. He loves you Iris and I know you love him. The rest will work itself out just give it time." Aruka said clasping Iris's necklace. Iris only wished she could relax because Ichijo has it out for her.

"May your words hold true." was all she said
