Eternally Yours

With the darkness came the light, and with it the shadows. I trace my fingers over this phrase, as I wait for Fie. My feet caress the cool pool of stars, ripples turning to swirls of constellations. I can feel him approaching, even before he's reached the Celestial Realm.

Fie is by my side I jump into his embrace. The starry water swirls as he pulls me closer.

"I missed you," I nip at his shoulder, causing him to laugh.

"I wasn't gone that long," he runs his fingers through my midnight hair laced with starlight.

"Yes, you were," I pull away giving my back to him, "you always go play in the Underworld, and leave me here all alone."

Fie wraps his arms around me placing his chin on my shoulder. He smells of moonlight and darkness.

"Come with me."

"To the Underworld?"

"Where else?"

"Do you mean it?"

"I told you," he spins me around, "I will make you my Queen."

"I don't want to be your Queen," I have to stand on my tiptoes to reach him, I place one hand over his heart the other cradles the side of his face. "I want to be eternally yours, and I want you to be eternally mine, and no one else."

"All right," Fie kisses my hand before sinking his canines in, "I Fie Prince of the Underworld, bind my eternal soul to you, Celeste daughter of Starlight," he drinks my blood, as I bite into the wrist he offers, "I Celeste daughter of Starlight bind my eternal soul to you, Fie Prince of the Underworld for all eternity."

"For all eternity," Fie says as I drink his blood. The stars around us dance as we exchange our hearts sealing our fates for all eternity. The heavens roar as the first union between the Celestial Realm and Underworld is made.
