It Started Again

Akaisha looked at him as he looked at her. Her hands started to ball into fists ready to fight. After escaping she managed to find her parents who took her in. They put her in self defense classes. Akaisha was affluent in mixed martial arts. The man turned away to leave. "I know you know I won't give up until you're dead." He looked over his shoulder at her. "Find me when you start hearing people thoughts or anything else strange happening." She clenched her fists o tight she felt her nails digging into her skin. Anger took over her rationality. Akaisha charged at him aiming to land a blow. Just when she thought her fist would connect with his shoulder he vanished right in front of her. She fell down to the ground only to see him appear right above her. She tried to trip him by side sweeping his legs. That only made him flash in place. He grabbed hold of her leg twisting her onto her stomach. Immediately he subdued her. His voice was hoarse as the unexpected rainstorm came down. "I'm not the one you should be hunting. Other than test on you did I do any harm towards you? Your parents sold you to a brothel I saved you." Any idea of struggling vanished from her thoughts. 'They sold me? That makes no sense.' Just as she was about to talk back to him the grip on her leg was released. She looked over her shoulder to see he was gone. Akaisha sat up, her head hung low. Her thoughts were running rampant in her head. 'What did he mean?', 'That can't be true.' She sat for a few minutes before getting up. She still had a job to do. Now that she knew he was still alive and some how managing to move lightening fast she was going to stop him. Her leg throbbed while she walked back to the parlor. Akaisha thought about how she wished the pain would go away. Soon after her leg felt normal. It didn't register at the time why it happened but she was just glad the pain went away.

Mahima was just coming out from having her massage. That was when Akaisha realized she had been gone for an hour. "You! Where did you go? It's almost time to prep for the evening news. Chip chop let's go." She narrowed her eyes in anger. Then Mahima foot caught on the rug causing her to fall into the door. Akaisha immediately covered her mouth muffling her words. "Oh my God, I did that." Mahima was knocked unconscious, her body was crumpled against the door. The celestial being called emergency services an went to check on Mahima. It looked at Akaisha with a solemn voice. "Miss you did not cause this." The emergency response unit made it to Time Rewind within minutes, both the celestial and Akaisha answered their questions. Akaisha was permitted to go with her to the hospital as her assistant. On the way there she made calls to the station. They agreed that James Fidget would go on the air alone until Mahima came back from the hospital.

Akaisha paced back and forth outside of the hospital room, nervously chewing on her thumb. Mahima was unconscious from her fall. Left up to her own thoughts she began to wonder how did Mahima fall and proceed to hurt herself just as she thought about it. 'Is that woman crazy?' The random thought caused her to look around her surroundings. She caught the eye of a wary nurse looking at her with disdain. 'What does she have that I don't have?' Akaisha faces twisted in confusion, she turned to the beautiful off to her left gazing at the handsome doctor. She started to step. Fear began to grab hold of her. The same thing that happened when she was a child began to happen again, except this time it was stronger. Akaisha kept walking backwards until she bumped into someone. Their future flashed in front of her eyes. It made her grip her chest in agony. She felt their gruesome death like it was her own. A nurse noticed she was breathing rapidly and her eyes were unfocused. She decided to try and help her. The moment her hand brushed against Akaisha shoulder she soon saw her life rolling across her mind as if it was a movie. "Don't touch me!" She tried to shove the woman aside but collapsed onto her knees. More nurses ran up to her trying to subdue her in vain. She managed to keep them from touching her until she touched one of their shoes seeing the betrayal that awaited the woman when she came home. Akaisha eyes fluttered to the back of her head just as she lost consciousness.

It was a few hours later when she woke up. It looked like she was only placed in the bed since there were no machines whirling around her. Akaisha breathed out in relief. She remembered from the last time when these… issues started happening nothing would penetrate her skin unless she allowed it. A nurse happened to be walking past when she seen Akaisha sitting up groggily. "Miss Morningstar you're awake. Thank goodness. You fainted in the hallway. I'll go get the doctor alright?" While the nurse was talking Akaisha could hear her thoughts loud and clear in her head. 'This woman must have felt guilty about something. I should have the guards keep a watch on her.' It was the same thing fifteen years ago. Akaisha was admitted to a psyche ward due to her strange behavior. Her parents thought she was a psychotic person with the way she could hear thoughts, see a person's future with a simple touch, brought misfortune on those around her with a simple thought, super human strength, restorative healing, and having skin like Teflon. There was two other things she had deal with but she hoped they didn't return. Akaisha was able to stand on her own. She felt fine so, she checked on Mahima before she left the hospital.

The rain had stopped by the time she made it outside to a blacken sky. The hover lights were to guide her home. She couldn't stop thinking about what the man had said and about how the powers she thought were sealed away came back in full force just after meeting him. 'Did he know this was going to happen? Had he waited all this time in the hopes that I would display the abnormalities?' Akaisha had just reached home when she seen that her door was slightly ajar. She rushed inside hoping to find Blue. "BLUE? Where are you girl?" The sound of pitter patter calmed her racing heart. Blue bounded in from her bedroom happy to see her. 'YOU'RE HOME!!! OH MY GOSH I MISSED YOU SO MUCH! DID YOU BRING ME ANYTHING? DID YA? DID YA? AKAISHA SOME CRAZY MAN BROKE IN BUT I BITE HIS ASS.' Akaisha ruffled Blue's ear before kissing her forehead. "Good girl Blue. You bit that naughty man." Blue tilted her head to the side in confusion. 'YOU UNDERSTAND ME? MAMA YOU UNDERSTAND ME. NOW I WANT TOU TO BRING ME A…' Blue didn't get a chance to finish her thought when she seen Akaisha shaking her head in dismay. "No expensive meats unless it's for special occasion Blue. I didn't bring anything back with me and I'm sorry I'm late. Something happened to Mahima and then I fainted." Blue put her paw on her knee and nuzzled her head against Akaisha's cheek. 'WELL SHE HAD THAT COMING. YOUR'E OK MAMA. I WAS A GOOD GIRL IF THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY.' Akaisha chuckled. It may not be such a bad thing if Blue can have a nice conversation with her. "Alright girl go to the room and I'll have a long shower. No waiting by the door." It didn't take much to cause Blue to be upset. Having to be alone when Akaisha was home was one that always upset her. Instead of speaking she purposely sneezed in Akaisha face and walked off. "Blue you little shit. Fine, fine you can come in the bathroom but don't peak in the shower." Blue looked back at her as if she was smiling. She headed to the bathroom to wait for Akaisha. 'Once I kill you I hope these unnecessary powers go away. Mister you better reveal yourself again.' She grabbed her clothes and went to the bathroom where Blue was waiting.
