We talked about this

"We talked about this" Anberine warned as she reminded him on the conditions for helping him.

Glaring at her Skye stood up and took his books to the desk behind Anberine to their surprise.

"Thank you" Anberine added calmly as Marcus sat down gingerly now feeling a little worried about what happened.

"I'll explain later" Anberine said softly to Marcus who raised a brow, meanwhile a grumble from the prince entered their ears resulting in Anberine clearing her throat again.

Merlia almost snorted from his actions but said nor did nothing.

Soon Helga and Morgana entered the room only to double take on what they were seeing.

"Why are you holding up the door?" Percival asked as the girls jumped slightly realising that they were stopping people from entering, once inside Percival, Gawain and Mordred stared at the prince with raised brows.

"I'm starting to see why they blocked the door" Mordred muttered as he took his seat beside Skye to their displeasure.

"Students I'm going to start class in five minutes, make sure you have everything ready" Mr. Jilbari said loudly from next door.

Meanwhile unaware of the unexpected change in seating and behaviour that was taking place.

As Anberine was getting her quill ready she saw something land on her desk, turning to give the prince a dry look she saw him frowning before gesturing to the paper.

Curious she eyed the paper as she opened it.

"(Need help with Chapter 3)" the note said leaving her rooted to the spot for a bit before realising that she was taking a bit long to respond.

Sighing she turned to look at him and handed her notebook.

"(Read that and no more note passing, I don't want to get into trouble)" Anberine said softly before the teacher showed up.

Knowing that she had no way of making any notes she turned to look at Merlia who remained stunned from what she saw but quickly gave Anberine some blank paper for her to use.

Nodding her thanks Anberine turned to look at the teacher.

Meanwhile Skye stared at the book before noticing someone was staring at him, turning to his right he saw Mordred frowning.

"You really pick your moments" Mordred said to Skye's anger, however the anger simmered as he remembered why Mordred was not happy.

Eyeing her notebook Skye sighed before taking down notes with his book.

At times Skye tried to understand what their teacher was saying during the lectures and yet it proved harder to understand than he would have liked.

It wasn't like he needed to know this stuff so why was it compulsory for him?

Sighing softly Skye continued to write down notes that seemed useful only as he looked down at his book it was almost blank to his dismay, a withered sigh left his lips earning him a brief cold look from Mordred.

"I'm trying to listen" Mordred hissed as he perked his head up to listen to the teacher once more, Skye who was left speechless by the reaction froze until he heard someone clearing their throat.

Jumping slightly Skye looked up to see the teacher frowning at him with his arms folded.

"Daydreaming in my class Prince Skye?" Jilbari asked dryly earning a few whispers that were quickly snuffed out by the teacher's look, turning back to the flushed prince Jilbari frowned.

"S-Sorry Sir" Skye looked down meekly feeling completely embarrassed if not humiliated for being caught out, turning the book around Jilbari's eyebrows went up before going down quickly in disappointment.

"Young man what is this?" Jilbari asked sternly causing Skye to tense up feeling more uncomfortable than ever thanks to being the center of unwanted attention.

"If you have time to daydream, you have time to listen to my classes" Jilbari scolded leaving Skye to wince. Anberine and Merlia stared at the other in bafflement at what was going on before looking at the pair.

Sighing heavily Jilbari turned his back on the prince leaving the teen mortified, clenching his hands on his trousers Skye remained silent not knowing what to do given that he had caused the mess.

Even if it was unintentional.

"See me after class young man" Jilbari said in a blunt tone signalling that there was no room for debate, swallowing thickly Skye sank in his seat wanting nothing more than to vanish from the gaze of his peers.

Not once did he look up nor did he move his hands from his lap, shame continued to fill the prince even as everyone started to leave the class once the lesson ended.

Anberine who was packing her stuff away turned briefly to look at Skye and frowned.

'It's his fault for not paying attention' Anberine muttered as she grabbed the strap of her bag.

'It's not my fault' she assured herself while making her way towards the door.

"Miss Prendagon, a moment of your time if it is possible please?" Jilbari said calmly as he approached her.

Blinking in confusion she noticed her notebook in his hand leaving her flushing from being caught out.

Merlia who was next to her blinked before Anberine smiled briefly in order to assure her worried friend.

Seeing this Merlia nodded and left with a sceptical look on her face.

"Ah" Anberine went silent due to being tongue tied, seeing this the teacher smiled softly before gesturing to one of the front seats.

"I'll speak to you in a moment" he said softly before approaching Skye who slowly looked up, just seeing this left Jilbari almost imagining that the prince was behaving like a scolded child to the man's annoyance.

Clearing his throat Skye jumped up slightly from the noise now fully paying attention.

Seeing this the teacher groaned while pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Young man... what is this?" Jilbari asked bluntly as Skye nursed his sore knees after hitting them with the table.

"Sir?" Skye kept his gaze on the teacher who was appearing more vexed than ever.

"I know that this isn't sword practice but surely you should be aware that potion class is strictly to help you with not just making potions, but it is to help you become aware of any lethal or helpful potions that will be about. Surely this should be a good excuse to learn and to not disrespect me or my class" the teachers scolded earning a wince from Skye.

Anberine as she watched this raised a brow but said nothing.
