Chapter 16; The Baby Is Gone

Edward rushed back to their home to see his aunt and make sure that she is okay when he arrived he went directly to his aunt room and find that she was sleeping.

He heaved a sigh of relief as he saw that his aunt is fine. He called doctor Serrano and asked about Angel's condition.

Doctor Glen Serrano: Oh, Edward..... well right now we are still trying to save the baby, but if worst comes to worst and if I would need to choose one of them, I would surely choose the mother. Doctor Serrano explained.

Edward: Do everything that you can doc, you know my aunt cared about her and the baby. If something happened to them she will be depressed and it's bad to her heart.

Doctor Glen Serrano: Okay, I understand. I'll see what I can do.

Edward hung up the phone, He asked Rebecca what happened.

Rebecca: young master, I don't know much. All I know is that when they return from Angel's house, she is crying and madame looks sad. I think something happened there, that's why when they got home they are all sad and quiet.

Edward: Call the two maids who accompany them.

Rebecca: yes young master

Rebecca went to call the two maids hurriedly and told them that Edward is looking for them.

The two maids were nervous, they didn't know that Angel would have a miscarriage after they got back.

Edward: You too sit down, tell me what happened. Why is my aunt look sad and Angel has a miscarriage after visiting her siblings?

One of the maid's name Mia started to explain.

Mia: Young master, it's like this. They are happy when we arrived they chat almost the whole day, Madame even said that if their father would let them, they can go back here with Angel and live with us.

But when the father comes home drunk, he started yelling at Angel. He is calling her a whore and wanted to drove her away immediately. When Madame heard him she came out of the room and criticized the drunk man.

He yelled at Madame and started pushing us out of the house.
