Chapter 20: A Blooming Relationship

That night after dinner, Sophia asks Edward to take her home but Doctor Serrano decided to intervene and offered Sophia a lift since they are heading the same way.

Doctor Glen Serrano: Sophia, Edward is tired and need some rest, he just came back from a long trip. Why don't we go together in my car my house is in the same area as yours anyway. Doctor Serrano said as he smiled at Edward and Sophia.

Edward smiled and heave a sigh, he was supposed to call the driver to ask him to drive Sophia home. Thanks to Doctor Serrano, he doesn't have to make up an alibi to Sophia so that he won't be pestered by her asking him to drive her home.

Sophia pouted feeling defeated, she knows that it is no use to insist on Edward to drive her home since Doctor Serrano's house is indeed near their house.

Edward intended to talk to Margarita after their visitors left, he wanted to tell Margarita that he wanted to pursue Angel. He doesn't know how it started but he knows that the feeling that he feels for Angel is different than a brotherly love that he had for Sophia.

When Doctor Serrano and Sophia left, Angel kissed Margarita on her cheeks and bid her goodnight, she wanted to visit her siblings tomorrow to give them her gifts personally.

After Angel went to her room, Margarita stayed behind waiting for Edward. She knows that Angel and Edward are both tired, but she wanted to talk to her nephew before she sleeps

Edward: Auntie.... I'm glad that you're still awake. I wanted to talk to you about something.

Margarita: Oh, that's good. I waited for you because I wanted to talk to you too. Margarita answered.

Edward: Oh, what about??? Edward asked alarmed.
