I still didn't get to play with her yesterday, but today, after two weeks and twodays, I did. Hooray! We didn't really follow anything that I planned, but what we played were much more enjoyable! Today, she has vigorously insisted that we go see some plants, so we went to the town garden. At first, I thought she wanted to pick those teeny reddish flowers, the ones you could chain together in order to make a necklace. Well, I was wrong. What she wanted to do was to hunt for weird beings. I thought she was talking about garden spirits or will-o'-wisps, but again, I was wrong. She wanted to hunt for insects. I guess you could say that insects are weird, but isn't that a little too harsh? I'm sure that to insects, we humans are the oddballs. At the end of the day, we only really got common insects. Grasshoppers, jollybees, beetles, and whatnot. We brought our straw hats with us today, and that's where we put those that we've caught. I'm still amazed even now on how good she is at identifying the different types of insects. She even knows their scientific names. She gave me a lecture a while ago about praying mantises, also known as mantodea. Aside from them having lepidopteras, crickets, and the likes as their meal, I don't really know anything else. My mind drifted when she went beyond these details In any case, I sure hope I don't encounter any huge spiders. Actually, even the small ones. Gwen told me that I had a whatsit-phobia. I can't remember it exactly, but it meant that I had a fear of spiders. Afterwards, we set all of them free, then headed home.
