Fun?

Sage walked out of her bedroom 10 minutes later dressed in a simple dark blue v-neck t-shirt and jeans, she also had Justin's sweatshirt incase it was cold out.

Lance was finding that he had no idea where to go or where he was. The night before it had seemed like Ty had just led them up the stairs and down a hallway but after walking back the way he thought he had gone the night before, he ended up in a library. A huge library, with books lining each wall from floor to ceiling, except one wall that was made up of two large floor to ceiling windows. He then went back the way he came in and tried a different staircase leading down a corridor. He thought he had gone the right way because he seemed to be in a large kitchen but there was no one there. He looked around for a minute then turned and was about to walk back the way he had come when he saw a maid walking towards him.

"Excuse me miss." Lance said walking up to the maid.

"Yes, young master?" said the maid in a thick irish accent. She was young close to Lance's own age but her hair was startlingly white and streaked with purple, her eyes where a deep blue like Lance had never seen. She was almost too odd looking to be allowed. She was also wearing a deep blue maids outfit that made her look very pale.

"Could you tell me where the family that lives here eats breakfast?"

The maid looked puzzled.

"Well young master, I'm not rightly sure where they are dinning today. I work in this part of the manner so I rarely see the masters. But I do know there are five dinning rooms in the manner and four tea rooms. One dinning room for smart parties, one for holidays, one for ladies gatherings, one for gents, and one for family gatherings. But I hear that the masters fancy feasting in the tea rooms every now and again. I'm not sure which one they would be fancying today."

Just as she finished speaking, another maid came walking down the hall. The first maid then explained everything to the second maid.

"Awe, dear me young master, I've not of the faintest idea where the masters dine." Her accent was even thicker than the first maid. She was older and rather plump with graying curly hair and nearly black eyes. Lance found it hard to understand her.

"I was telling him about all the sup rooms and the tea rooms just now Franny."

"Ah, dear but the masters also sup in the kitchen from time to time I hear. You know who would be on the know is Lee, Petal."

"Ah, yea Fan, do you know where I could be finding him?" asked the young maid called Petal.

"I last saw him close to the third library, one down by the fourth parlor."

"Thank yea kindly Fran. I'll take young master and sort matters out."

Lance who had only understood half the conversation looked puzzled at Petal.

"Come with me young master, I'll find yea someone who can sort you out."

Lance followed Petal as Franny curtsied.

Lance and Petal soon came to the library he had been in previously.

"Lee, is that you?" said Petal to a man in a black suit on a ladder who seemed to be putting away a book.

"Yes, Petal, how may I help you?" Lee said as he descended the ladder.

"Do you happen to know where the masters are supping today?"

"I believe, they are dinning at the third kitchens breakfast bar." He said.

He had descended the ladder by now and stood in front of them. he was tall and skinny with red hair and blue eyes, he spoke with more of an English accent then Irish.

"Could you take young master here to them for me? I'm not sure of the way."

"Yes, I was heading that way myself. Come young master, you may follow me." Lee said as he led Lance through a concealed door to his left.

Lance called thank you over his shoulder to Petal who curtsied and turned to go.

Sage meanwhile, had been wondering the house for over a half hour, completely lost. She had walked through, two parlors, one kitchen, three living rooms, what seemed to be a ballroom, an office and a library. She had gone up and down multiple staircases.

"Why the hell did I leave my phone in my room?" She thought to herself.

She was walking down a hallway when she saw two people up ahead.

"Lance!" she yelled as she ran toward him.

"Hey Sage, did you get lost too?"

"Yes, hopelessly lost, and I'm so hungry!"

"You can follow me miss. I am leading young master here to the kitchen for breakfast." said Lee with a little bow.

"Oh thank you." said Sage.

"This place is huge! I don't know why I didn't think to ask Justin where we were suppose to be meeting today. I thought I'd be able to re-trace my steps." Sage said.

"Me too." said Lance. "But I ended up lost and then I ran into two maids that I couldn't understand, they brought me to Lee here; who told me he would take me to the third kitchen I think."

"My God, I could die in here and no one would find me for hours." Sage said.

"I once broke my leg falling off a ladder in the grand library and I wasn't found for three hours." Lee said. "You could walk around the whole manner all day and visit every room along the way and still not finish seeing the whole house."

"How do you not get lost?" Lance asked

"We use maps." said Lee pulling a small map from his pocket.

"I will have one made for both of you after I show you to the kitchen."

"Thank you." said both Lance and Sage.

"Here we are young master and miss." said Lee a moment later as they entered a kitchen to find Lenard and Molly sipping cups of coffee at the breakfast bar.

"Ah, Lance and Sage! There you are! Thank Goodness! We just sent Justin and Lyla to look for you." said Molly motioning to them to come over to her. "Come now my dears, eat then we will begin the process of erasing you and trust me, you will want to eat before that! I am very sorry we did not explain where we would be eating this morning."

"Thank you Lee for guiding them, could you contact Justin and Lyla and let them know we have found them?" asked Lenard.

"Yes master, right away sir. Lance and Sage, I will deliver maps to your rooms as soon as I contact master Justin and miss Lyla." said Lee as he bowed and turned to leave.

Sage called over her shoulder, "Thank you!"

"Oh goodness, we forgot to give you maps! So very sorry dears. What would you like to eat?" asked Molly. "Eggs, toast, parfait, oatmeal?"

"Um, could I just have some fruit?" asked Sage.

"Are you sure dear?"

"Sage has tons of food allergies, like gluten, dairy, potatoes and eggs, so she is basically a vegan." Lance explained.

"Oh, I am so sorry dear! I will inform the chefs so you have proper meals."

"Oh, it's okay Miss Molly, I normally just eat a little of whatever is given to me."

"Please, force her to eat properly, she makes herself sick all the time eating things she shouldn't because she doesn't want to be rude."

"Sean, really it's fine." Sage pleaded with him touching his shoulder.

"Zmayah, you never take care of yourself, just let them make you food you can eat."

"I had no idea you were a couple, you are so cute, taking care of her like that." Molly fawned.

Lance and Sage stared at each other then Sage spoke.

"Oh, we...aren't a couple." Sage explained looking at her feet. "We are just friends."

"Yeah, we've know each other for a long time. We're just friends." Lance said blushing.

"Is that so?" Molly asked as Justin and Lyla walked in.

"Sage, Lance! Finally! I totally forgot to tell you how to get here this morning. I am so sorry. I'm so use to living here that I forget it can be quite a maze for someone who has never been here." said Ty apologizing.

"That's okay." said Sage. "We found it in the end."

"Have you both had enough to eat?" asked Lyla after she finished her food.

"I have." said Lance.

"Me too." added Sage.

"Great, now off to the hard part. Sage, come with me, Lance you go with Ty. It's time to get erased." said Lyla standing and taking Sage's hand. "Mom, Dad, we will see you when we're done."

"Alright dear, don't forget the pills this time!" Molly yelled as they walked away.

Lyla brought Sage through what felt like fifty different doors and rooms till they came to a plan white wall that Sage thought must be the inner frame wall of the mansion till Lyla put her hand on the highest place she could reach on the wall. Then the wall began to slide away. Sage stared in awe as she looked into a large white room that looked like a lab.

"Welcome Lady Lyla, and Lady Sage, please come this way." said a woman dressed in an all white lab coat.

She led them over to a small cubicle.

"You may take your clothes off in here." she said looking at Sage.

"Wait, you want me to what!" exclaimed Sage.

"You have to get naked so they can check your body for scares and remove them." explained Lyla. "Don't worry, only women are allowed in here and it only takes a minute."

Sage walked into the cubicle and began to undress. Once she was done an elderly lady walked in and began to check every inch of her body. She then began marking different places on Sage including her face and feet. Once she was done she walked out and came back with a syringe. Without speaking she stuck the syringe in Sages shoulder.

"Wait-" Sage cried but it was too late.

Her eyes closed and she blacked out.

When she awoke, she was laying on a white table with a white blanket over her naked body.

"What happened?" she tried to say but she found that her mouth was numb and she couldn't speak.

Another woman in a lab coat came into the room. She looked at Sage then grabbed a small tool off a nearby table. Then she walked over to Sage.

"Open your mouth." She said.

Sage obeyed.

The woman then put the tool in Sage's mouth along with a suction straw onto one of her back teeth. Sage felt and heard the tool gride down on her tooth and the straw suck up the now small pieces of tooth dust. She did this for all of Sage's back molars. After she was done, she took the tools out and left the room. once she walked out, another woman walked in. She had what looked like a sheet of metal with her which she placed on a small hot plate. She then put on protective gloves and picked up the metal plate. She walked over to Sage, grabbed her hand and without warning, placed Sage's hand on the metal plate, pressing down on each finger. Sage screamed, but soon realised there was no pain. After she had done both Sage's hands and feet, she too left the room.

Then Lyla walked in.

"You're all done, sorry about the sudden surprises. We find it easier, if the person doesn't know what is going to happen." said Lyla handing Sage her clothes and two pills.

Sage stared at her, not knowing what to say.

"Go ahead and get dressed and take those, they will help with any after pain. I will wait outside."

Sage began to dress but when she looked down at her body she realized she had changed. They had removed every scare not only that but also moles and freckles she had always had. She then looked up into a mirror and was shocked at how different she looked. every mark was gone. Her skin was flawless.

"All set?" said Lyla when she came out.

"Yeah." said Sage. "How did you guys do that?" She asked.

"Oh, well it takes awhile, believe it or not, you were out for about three hours while they worked on you. They have a way of removing blemishes by rejuvenating skin cells or something like that."

"Wow." said Sage touching her new face.

"Yep, now let's go find the boys so we can go shopping! After we meet up with my mom and dad that is."

They walked back through the house to a large office where Molly and Lenard were talking to two young boys.

"Oh my! look how beautiful you are!" Molly exclaimed looking at Sage.

"Quite a lovely change isn't it Lenard?"

"Yes, quite, you look very lovely Sage. Now come meet two of our other children. This is William and Mateo." Lenard explained

"Hello, I'm Sage." said Sage smiling.

"I know who you are." said William. "Justin has told me all about you."

"Oh has he?" Sage asked.

"Yep, he told me about you while you got erased. He likes you and I like you too. I'm seven by the way and I like owls and raccoons."

"I like those too." said Sage.

"Mateo is it five, and he doesn't talk." explained William.

"We adopted him after a cartel war killed his family. He is very shy." Whispered Lyla into Sage's ear.

Sage looked down at the small boy who was trying to hide behind William. He had dark tan skin like Sage and big brown eyes. Sage knew at once he was mexican where as William with his light brown curly hair and blue eyes was certainly not. She leaned down and looked Mateo in the eyes.

"Hola Mateo, mi nombre es Sage. Mucho gusto."

Mateo stared at her with big eyes.

"Hola." he said under his breath.

Everyone in the room stared at Sage and Mateo. Sage motioned to him to come over to her which he then did. She picked him up with a smile and held him on her hip. Mateo smiled back at her and hugged her around the neck.

Just then Lance and Ty walked in. When Ty saw Sage holding Mateo, his eyes went wide.

Molly and Lenard both had tears in their eyes.

"We have tried for three years to get him to speak and allow us to hold him. This is the first time he has ever done either of those things since we adopted him." Explained Lenard crying.

"Thank you." said Molly. "Thank you for making him happy."

Sage blushed

"Oh, I didn't know, I just knew he was mexican and I'm mexican so I thought maybe he would speak spanish to me." she said.

"You must remind him of someone he loved." said Lyla.

"Well, we better let you kids go, but first. Here is your tracking device, lipstick mace for you Sage and a shoe pocket knife for you Lance." Molly said sniffling and handing them each their gear.

Sage put Mateo down and took hers.

"Just stick the tracker behind your ear and Lyla and Ty can show you how everything else works." Molly said, showing them how to tuck the tracker behind their ears.

Mateo gently hung on to Sage's pant leg while Lyla explained to her how everything else worked.

"We will have more gear for you when you get back and we will push training to tomorrow so y'all can rest some more." said Lenard.

"Now you all have fun and be safe."

"Adios, Mateo." said Sage giving the small boy a hug. Mateo looked sad again.

"No." he said.

"It's okay, I'll be back." she said to him in spanish.
