Ria and Bella

Making a short stop at the branch office of the company which acted as the mediator for those who gave the quests and those who finished them, Felix immediately redeemed the reward of five hundred astral stones after which he stopped to eat something and made his way back home.

Seeing that the clock would soon strike nine in his watch, Felix felt that time did indeed fly away while he was having sex.

All transactions that took place among the allied races used two types of currencies.

Astral Dollars, a virtual currency created by the Astral Government, and Astral Stones, a special resource used by Astral Cultivators in many ways.

The Astral Dollar could be said as the currency used in transactions that were small in value.

This Astral Dollar was mostly used by non-cultivators, or low-level cultivators in the daily transactions that dealt with small denominations.

Astral Stones on the other hand depending on who it was that was looking at them could be considered as a luxury item.

After all, what the Astral Stones contained inside them was pure Astral Force and not Astral Energy due to which cultivators could use them in their raw form and directly absorb the Astral Force inside them to increase their cultivation without worrying about damaging their foundation or absorbing impurities.

Thus, only transactions which were high in value required the involved parties to use Astral Stones.

And these Astral Stone were of three grades.

Low-Grade Astral Stone which were formed inside the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Dimensions.

Mid Grade Astral Stones which other than being worth a hundred Low-Grade Astral Stones were formed inside the 4th, 5th, and 6th Dimensions.

And finally, High-Grade Astral Stones which were formed inside the 7th, 8th, and 9th Dimensions and similarly worth a hundred Mid Grade Astral Stones.

Unfortunately, despite how far technology had advanced by now, no one had yet been able to find out how to create Astral Stones due to which wars still took place every day for the right to possess the mines where they were found at regardless of which Dimension it was in.

Walking near his home, Felix like always was about to walk around it and enter his room through the window when he suddenly stopped.

After all, not only was the door to the house open, Felix spotted a total of five women sitting in the hall and the atmosphere itself seemed way too severe for him to ignore.

Therefore, even though that woman was in there along with the others, Felix chose to find out what was happening because the injury on Ria's face filled him with a deep unease.

Taking a deep breath and walking through the front door for the first after three years, Felix ignored the various looks on each of the four women's faces and sat beside Ria who was crying her eyes out.

Wrapping his arm around her shoulder, Felix asked, "What happened Ria? Who dares to make my cute little Ria cry so much?"

Weeping even more loudly as she dug her head inside Felix's chest, the young girl who was a few younger than Felix showed no signs of stopping her tears from leaving her eyes.

Using his hand to pat Ria's head while taking in the anxious, angry, and depressed look the other women inside the room had most likely due to knowing the reason behind all of this, Felix once again said, "Tell me what happened Ria, I'm definitely going to make those who offended you pay up."

Ria was none other than the girl who worked at the shop which Felix's stepmother ran, due to this Felix himself was quite anxious to find out what happened.

After all, if what happened was something related to the shop, there was no way Felix could just ignore it.

"Really?"

"Did big brother ever lie to you?"

Shaking her head which was still buried inside his chest wildly to indicate that he didn't, Ria asked, "Regardless of who it is?"

"Of course! Regardless of who it is, I'll make sure that they regret daring to hurt my cute little Ria."

Seemingly accepting Felix's words because he had never once lied to her, Ria stopped crying and rubbed her tears away.

"What happened big brother was that big ugly goons from the Ast.... "

"RI.…"

Stopping herself midway, the woman who planned on turning Ria silent looked away because she couldn't bear with that look in Felix's eyes.

Due to this, Ria who didn't manage to hear anything continue telling Felix about everything that happened.

"Ahh.. I see. Don't worry, Ria. Big brother will definitely take revenge for you!"

"I knew it! I said the same thing when big sister Bella told me not to tell you what happened."

Looking at Bella, who was the same one that tried to interrupt Ria, Felix took out five Low-Grade Astral Runes from thin air and placed them on the table.

"Take these and go buy whatever you want, Ria. My cute little Ria shouldn't look so depressed."

"Really?!"

Turning cheerful and happy instantly because even she knew how much five Low-Grade Astral Stone were worth and how many chocolates and beautiful dresses she can buy with them, Ria as if to not give Felix any chance to go back on his words hugged him tightly and said, "Thank you, big brother! I'll be back soon!"

Next, she immediately grabbed them and ran outside the house to spend all of them immediately.

Seeing this, the warm smile on Felix's face completely vanished and was replaced with a cold look which even made someone like Anna who had taken place in wars shiver a little.

"Bella, go with her."

"I.…"

Gritting her teeth and cutting her line short because every time Felix glared at her, her back was covered in cold sweat and she felt an unbelievable amount of fear radiating from her soul itself due to which she couldn't speak back to him, Bella despite being older than Felix gave in and ran after Ria to make sure no one tried to steal those Astral Stones from her.

Looking towards the disappearing Bella, Felix didn't say anything else because he knew that she only tried to hide what happened because she was concerned about what he would do after hearing what happened.

Still, if it wasn't because she was his stepmother's eldest daughter, Felix definitely wouldn't have forgiven her so easily for trying to hide something so serious from him.
