Visiting the Black Market

"This…. Are the two of them shooting some drama?"

Not knowing what to say after seeing what Felix and his stepmom did until now, Anastasia felt even more curious to find out what it was that happened between the two of them.

But that would have to wait for later because Felix after walking out of his house began running at his highest possible speed. A speed which ordinary humans would never be able to follow with their eyes.

This was why Sarah felt that Felix disappeared when he chose to burst out with all his speed and tried to leave.

Seeing which direction Felix was running in, Anastasia more or less guessed what it was that he planned on doing.

However, she was still a bit worried about what Astral Rune Felix was planning on inscribing.

Having just inscribed a Tier 9 Rune yesterday, regardless of what Rune Felix planned on inscribing Anastasia was worried that he didn't possess any high-level Astral Rune worth his potential.

After all, she had already checked his body and found that he possessed a total of 9 Nascent Souls. The highest amount of Nascent Souls any living being could possess.

Therefore, she honestly didn't want to watch Felix as he wasted his potential and inscribed a low-level rune because he was in urgent need of power to fight against the Asta Family.

Still, remembering how determined Felix looked when he said he would take care of anything, Anastasia chose not to interfere and continue watching what was happening.

Clearing his head of all the thoughts which he didn't need right now, Felix kept on running at his fastest speed and soon got an idea of how much better his physical prowess was right now.

And according to his guess, Felix only lacked a proper weapon to channel his strength into and display the best of his abilities.

That was why he was here right now.

Looking at the colossal skyscraper that he stopped in front of, Felix took out the pitch-black coat he had brought with himself and put it on which let him effectively cover his entire body and didn't even let a single strand of his hair be visible to others.

Checking himself to make sure that he was covered entirely and wasn't revealing anything, Felix boldly walked inside the building.

Moving straight towards the elevator, Felix chose the 57th floor, which was the highest floor that those like him who didn't possess any special privilege inside the Black Market could go to.

The Black Market.

Despite its name, the Black Market was the publicly acknowledged best trade organisation which allowed anyone and everyone to buy anything they wanted as long as they possessed enough money.

In fact, Felix himself was sure that even if none of the other forces possessed Tier 8 or 9 Runes, the Black Market would definitely possess them.

Of course, at the end of the day though, this was just what Felix thought and had no way of proving it.

Once Felix finished selecting the floor he wanted to go to, the doors instantly shut and in less than ten seconds reopened on the 57th floor.

Exiting the elevator, Felix walked straight towards the receptionist of this floor and said, "Tell your manager to come meet me."

As soon as those words exited Felix's mouth, everyone who heard him was utterly stunned. After all, one should know what status the Black Market had on a global level and also what it meant to be a manager of even a small branch like this one.

Calling the manager to come out and meet him made Felix either some hidden expert that didn't put the Black Market in his eyes or an idiot that was trying to commit suicide in the eyes of the others.

Most of them though thought that it was the second one because if Felix was a real big shot, he would've gone to the higher floors and not walked out onto the 57th one.

"Ummm… sir… the manager is currently in an important meeting and asked not to be disturbed...so…"

Speaking as politely and as carefully as possible because unlike the others she was the only one who was facing the invisible pressure radiating from the cloaked man, the receptionist was just about to try and suggest something when someone interfered and took the pressure off of her.

"Humph! Who the hell do you think you are to make my father come out and visit you? Just obediently get lost before I have the guards break your legs and throw you out."

Turning around, Felix who believed what the woman said and was thinking about what he should do to obtain the manager's attention ended up having the reason walk itself towards him.

Father? Let's see how he'll not come.

Pouring his Astral Force into the True Dragon Rune, Felix who figured out the hidden ability it had in letting out a dominating pressure used it to cover the twenty-something man and instantly caused him to turn pale from fright.

Gulping hard, the manager's son found that it was getting harder for him to breath under the pressure that wanted to snuff the life out of him.

Shit!

He just wanted to show off his identity and have some fun terrorising others and make them beg him for forgiveness like he always did, but never did he imagine that today would be the day he'd find himself kicking something too hard for his own good.

But why today of all times?!!

Right when he was about to go and meet who was most likely the most beautiful woman that he'd ever meet.

Sigh… How cruel are thou fate….!
