Zero survivors

Moving with zero hesitation right now, Frank who no longer had anyone to fear after finding out the cloaked man's identity swirled the spear to increase its momentum while he rushed forward towards Felix.

Narrowing his eyes not to track Frank's movement, but instead because he wasn't able to see clearly, Felix failed to react in time despite looking at the spear in his enemy's hand approaching him.

With weakness filling him, Felix could only barely move his body to the side and managed to not let the spear pierce through his heart.

Still, he couldn't escape from the attack altogether.

Almost as if taking revenge for what Felix did to him in the beginning, the spear in Frank's hand pierced the young man's right lung and proceeded to come out of his back.

Bang!

Letting go of the spear, Frank who had similarly overexerted himself threw up a little blood. But, the smile of victory on his face didn't show any signs of leaving him.

After all, his spear wasn't a normal one due to which Felix was guaranteed to have been burnt from the inside out. At the same time, with the spear leaving his hand, Frank had the impaled boy stuck in the wall behind with no chance of moving in any direction.

In short, Felix was now truly a fish waiting to be chopped.

"Humph! This is what you get for not appreciating me sparing your life. Now get ready to die."

Panting as he spoke, Frank showed a cruel glint in his eyes as if to show that he wasn't done yet.

Given how his son was dead and Felix could be considered as caught, Frank no longer thought about killing Felix immediately.

Instead, he now planned on torturing Felix for all eternity and make him beg for death. Only that way would he be able to take revenge on this boy for killing his son.

"I'm going to peel your skin first, so get ready to shout all you want."

Dragging his body towards Felix, Frank suddenly stopped since the silent boy had spoken for the first time.

"Why… Why did you kill him?"

Knowing who it was that Felix was talking about, Frank who no longer feared the possibility of anything happening to him due to how weak Felix had become after losing so much blood laughed out loud .

"That fool should've known better than to bite more than he could chew. Trying to take ownership of an Astar….!"

Unfortunately, Frank who let his guard down had gravely underestimated Felix's determination.

The moment he noticed an opening, Felix poured all of his remaining Astral Force inside the Sword of Kronos and slowed down speed by five times this time.

Walking forward while bearing with the pain of the spear that was stabbing through him rub against his flesh, Felix was now standing beside Frank with his white sword piercing through the man's heart.

"...Dieee…"

Speaking weakly, Felix somehow managed to show a smile despite their being a huge fist-sized hole in his chest.

"...noooooo!"

Along with the end of Frank's resentment filled roar, the man who was still indignant at the current situation and wasn't willing to die, tried to drag Felix to the underworld along with him.

But since it was his heart which was cleanly cut through by the Sword of Kronos, he failed to even raise his arm before all signs of life disappeared from his body.

To Felix, the reason behind his father's death wasn't something he was curious to find out. After all, it no longer matters to him.

Given how he couldn't change what had happened, what use was there in trying to find out the reason when he could kill the man responsible for it?

In a way though, Felix could be considered lucky to not bother and try to find out the reason his father was killed by putting his life at risk.

After all, there wasn't any considerable secret or mystery related to his father's death.

All that happened was that he found a newly formed Astral Stone mine and wanted to take ownership of it. However, the Asta Family wanted the same mine as well due to which they killed him and took everything inside his shop away as if to show that the real reason was the above-average popularity his shop possessed.

In the end though, even after killing Felix's father, the Asta Family not only failed to secure the mine since another family had already made a move, but at the same time they made an enemy who now killed every single one of them.

Well, not everyone.

Having stayed inside her room all the time, Chloe finally stepped out of it after sensing that the commotion coming from downstairs had finally died down.

By now, she had not only noticed that her husband was fighting against someone inside their house, but also that no one who even remotely held the Asta name was replying to her messages.

Due to this, despite being filled with fear, she very slowly made her way outside her room and then peaked to see the almost destroyed hall and two motionless bodies towards one corner of the room.

"Felix?!"

Blurting the name out in a moment of shock, Chloe quickly stopped herself since the other man was most likely her husband.

But after seeing how he didn't show any reaction, Chloe walked closer to the two of them and finally realised that her husband was dead. That thing which she thought was a protrusion of his armor turned out to actually be a sword which was stabbed through it.

How?!

What happened?!

Looking towards Felix who was barely alive himself, Chloe stepped towards Felix and asked, "What did you do?! Did you do all of this for me?"

Turning a little emotional from thinking that maybe Felix killed her husband to take her away with him, Chloe almost began jumping from happiness before she calmed down and guessed that her conjecture was wrong.

If he truly loved her enough to kill her husband whose Asta Family was one of the overlords of the 3rd Dimension, he definitely would've shown some signs of it beforehand.

Then.. yes… remembering something that she heard when she came back home after having spent so many hours having sex with Felix, Chloe's eyes turned both cold and hurt

Glaring towards Felix, she suddenly said, "You did all of this because of that bitc….!"

Unable to finish her words, Chloe's eyes turned wide in shock.

Looking towards Felix who stood beside her now, Chloe couldn't say anything before blood began pouring out of her neck which was slit open.

Holding the sword while not even possessing enough strength to shake it and make the blood covering it fly away, Felix weakly said, "You went too far…."

Originally Felix planned on letting Chloe live, because he had sex with her. But since she dared to try and curse Sarah, he changed his decision and in this way left no one from the Asta Family alive.
