Demon's training = Godly gains

"Huh? That's it?"

"Yup."

"Okay. Maybe you aren't all bad after all."

Praising Felix in her own way Maria asked, "How do you feel right now?"

"What?"

"You've been inside this gravity chamber for almost twenty minutes so you're bound to feel some change."

"Hmmm.. Now that you've mentioned it, my body seems to have gotten stronger."

"Correct. But do you know why?"

"Given how the increased gravity is trying to suppress me and I'm going against it, the pressure exerted on my body is making my potential show itself and absorb the Astral Energy in the air to strengthen my physique so that I don't end up defeated."

"You're quite close to it, but there is something you've missed."

Smiling proudly since there was at least something that she could explain to this boy who seemed to be a know it all, Maria said, "Do you know what's the maximum limit of gravity any Tier 3 cultivator could face?"

Not even giving Felix the chance to answer or shake his head, Maria said, "Two times."

"And you managing to easily walk around in five times gravity was what made me even more sure that you were the one who eliminated the Asta Family."

"Anyway, you should know by now that your physical body would grow stronger naturally regardless of whether or not you train it. Therefore, for your body which is at the level of Tier 3, irrespective of how you managed to make it so unbelievably strong, as long as you didn't use gravity to temper yourself regardless of how less time you spend inside here for a certain time your body is bound to keep growing stronger in."

"However once that period of huge gain is over, you'll need to work just as hard as anyone else to continue growing stronger, or increase the power of gravity to maintain the same pace of growth."

Rolling his eyes at how the explanation was unneededly long, Felix felt that Maria was trying to show off her knowledge.

"What's with that look, punk? You want me to straighten that expression for you?"

Looking away since brute force seemed like all Maria could use to make the other one accept her decision, Felix decided to focus on his training for now.

As for those legs of her which were still out in display, Felix kept on secretly glancing at them from time to time causing Maria's lips to twitch at the same time.

But, she chose to ignore it for now because by the time she was done with him, she wouldn't mind if he wanted to look at them directly. That is, if he could that is.

Thinking until here Maria showed another smile which caused Felix to shiver unintentionally and feel as if a pervert had her eyes set on him.

"Now you know why everyone calls me the Demon Instructor."

Looking towards Felix who was lying on the ground and had a small pool of sweat around him, Maria without any empathy said, "You should eat the meat of astral beasts and herbs which are good for your body from today onwards. If not, even if you grow stronger all that will be left of you is bones."

"You… HAaaaaaa….."

Not saying anything since he didn't know what to say to this sadist, Felix agreed with her and made a not to change his diet into a more nutritional one.

After all, he had lost at least a few kgs since the moment he began training with Maria, and if he kept this up without changing his diet, he really would look like a skeleton in the future.

This was especially because Felix was losing the muscles he had with them turning into smaller and more compressed.

And while this did increase his overall strength, he didn't want to look like a skeleton in the future due to which he had made up his mind to start eating the meat of astral beasts from today onwards.

"Do you still think your decision of not wanting anything is correct?"

Looking towards the ceiling, Felix who didn't have any energy to even look towards the legs he liked so much despite them being right next to him scoffed and said, "I should've asked you to keep your hands in control."

"Humph! You can just say that you don't want me to kick your ass, punk. No one else is here."

Groaning loudly at how she phrased it, Felix found his arrogance and pride disappearing as he remembered how much he had been hit today.

Every time he tried to take a break when he wasn't allowed to, Maria would use her first right away without using any words.

And the way she hit him was something which hurt a lot but left no signs of being hit at all. Almost as if Maria had come up with this method to punish those who didn't listen to her and at the same time never get caught for it.

Still, it wasn't as if the experience was torturous for nothing.

To Felix who had trained his body crudely until now, not only did he obtain a routine to follow, but doing everything that Maria told him to do Felix was more clear than anyone else about how much stronger he had grown.

If before he could punch through a wall made of brick and cement, Felix was confident in punching through five walls stacked one beside the other.

That is, if his hand would reach the end of it.

"Well, I'm going to leave now. Feel free to leave by yourself when you have enough strength to move."

Sayin so Maria walked out and left Felix who was completely exhausted all alone on the cold floor.
