Soothing bath

"Five… Five thousand?"

"Yes. You can just focus on swinging the sword, I'll count for you."

Grabbing herself a chair and placing it not too far in front of Felix, Maria sat on it and showed an 'I almost forgot' expression as she added, "These five thousand should be completed two hours. If you fail, hehehehehehe..."

Not trying to find out what that creepy laughter meant, Felix felt that he should definitely succeed and not lose.

This wasn't just because Felix wanted to keep his pride and arrogance but also because he had a bad feeling when he heard that laughter. It was almost as if he would find out why Maria was known as the Demon Instructor if he failed to do what she told him.

And that's how began the time which Felix would consider as longer than when he spent the entire night massacring the Asta Family.

"One, two, three, four…. Seventy, seventy-one, don't slow down already punk…. Nine hundred and five. What? You want to give up like a girl?"

Counting the sword swings while making comments which hurt Felix's pride and forced him to continue if he wanted to prove her wrong, Maria was filled with happiness from seeing the process of a diamond in the rough being polished right in front of her eyes.

"Haaaa… haaaa… one of these days…. Haaaa… I'm definitely going to get back at you…"

"Oh, really? And what are you going to do then?"

"Haaaa… You'll just have to wait and find out…."

Panting hard with each word, Felix kept on glaring towards Maria who seemed disappointed due to the fact that he succeeded both the times.

Yup, two times.

Following the first time during the morning, after letting Felix rest for a single measly hour he was forced to swing the sword five thousand more times.

Due to this, both of Felix's hands were bright red and twitching non-stop showing everyone who looked at them how far he went with using them.

Still, Maria didn't show the slightest concern towards this and coldly said, "It's six thousand slashes starting from tomorrow onwards, so make sure to rest well tonight."

Once she said so, Maria got up and walked away while deliberately showing her legs off.

"I'm going to wait for the day you get back at me, but don't take too long. Or, you'll end up missing these."

Showing off her legs one more time before leaving the Gravity Chamber, Maria made Felix's breathing turn heated and gave him an erection downstairs as well because the meaning behind her words was quite obvious.

The day he would grow stronger than Maria was the day he could press her under him.

Thinking about this, Felix wanted to continue training for even longer. But since his body truly couldn't take it anymore, he got up after a while and dragged his body back home where Sheila waited for him near the door like a diligent wife.

Seeing this, Felix felt that all the exhaustion had left his body, but this was only for an instant before all of it came back.

Sighing a little upon seeing Felix's state, Sheila who had expected this when he told her that he was going to start training using the sword from today onwards, she walked near him and hugged him gently from the side.

"You've worked hard. Now let me take care of the rest."

Helping Felix move, Sheila took him towards the bathroom where a bathtub full of sparkly green liquid waited for him.

"This is?"

"I added a special powder to the water so that you'll recover any injuries you come back with."

Using her soft hands to slowly remove the clothes on Felix's body, Sheila added, "Even though you aren't really injured, this liquid will still help your arms recover by soothing your muscles. Also, this medicine will help nourish your muscles and let them grow stronger depending on how exhausted they are."

"Really? Thanks a lot, little fox. You are such a great wife."

"I know. So, how do you plan on thanking me?"

"Will a kiss be enough?"

Smiling and not replying, Sheila helped Felix get inside the tub and asked him to submerge everything other than his head inside the water.

After all, even though the rest of Felix's body wasn't as strained as his hands, they were all tired and exhausted as well due to which the green medicinal liquid would greatly benefit all of them as well.

"Aaahhhh…."

Moaning as soon as his body entered the water, Felix made Sheila pout and ask, "Is the water feeling better than my hands?"

"Of course… not... "

Smiling since he managed to tease Sheila who turned a little angry after hearing the first half of his words, Felix let out another moan due to how good it felt.

With how cold the water was, Felix initially felt that the medicine would heal his strained muscles by soothing them through the coldness of it, but he soon realised how wrong he was.

That cold sensation which was surrounding him and entering him wasn't just his imagination.

This was because after Felix opened his closed eyes, he saw that the water's colour had significantly reduced and now no longer looked as dark as it did before. Instead, it now almost looked the same as ordinary water which had a just a few drops on green ink poured in it.

"This…"

Flexing the muscles on his arm, Felix smiled in satisfaction at how not only had his muscles cooled down and healed but had grown stronger as well.

Due to this, Felix after spotting Sheila who was blushing and looking back and forth between his dragon and the door used his hands to grab her hand and pulled her inside the tub.

"Aaaa…."

"Shhhhhh!!!!"

Hastily shutting Sheila's mouth since the women from his family might hear her, Felix who had plunged her into the water said, "Don't shout, I just want to thank you for helping me."

"Really?"

Wrapping her hands around Felix's neck, Sheila who had recovered from the sudden shock began showing the seductive and flirtatious side of hers.

"Of course. As an honest husband, why wouldn't I thank my beautiful wife for working so hard?"

Squeezing Sheila's ass through the wet robes which were sticking to her skin, Felix made her blush come back from feeling the rod which was hotter than the water under her.

Bringing her face close to Felix's face by herself, Sheila said, "This feels more like you taking advantage of your naive wife than thanking her.", following which she gently sealed Felix's lips with her own.

When that happened, it might just be Felix's imagination but he felt that kissing Sheila was more soothing than the medicinal water which helped his body actually heal.
