Businesswoman in training

"Hey!"

Simon knocked on the car door.

"I thought you guys left." He commented when the window rolled down. He looked behind Noah but didn't find Adriana there. "You didn't just leave her did you?" He asked.

"She left on her own. If you care so much you can go after her."

"You guys didn't fight….damn." Simon sighed.

"Simon mind your own business." Noah glared at him.

"It is my business when my friend is having a hard time." He crossed his arms. "So I suddenly stopped being your friend when you hid the fact that she was alive?" Noah questioned leaving him tongue-tied.

"I thought so." He rolled the window back up and told Jona to start driving to the company.

Simon groaned and got inside his car which was parking right behind. He then started following him to the company.

…..

Adriana had finally calmed down and she was back to normal. She paid the fare and she came out of the taxi.

She spotted the car Noah was heading her way so she waited so that Ralf and Jona could take her to whatever place she has to go next. She was emotionally exhausted and she just wanted to go home at this point.

Ralf exited the car and opened the door for Noah. He then closed it and walked towards Adriana.

Jona exited the car and followed Noah inside the building with a deep sigh.

"Let's just go inside, don't ask questions." She told Ralf and they both walked inside.

"Yo, how was lunch?" Angel asked as soon as he saw Noah.

"Don't talk to me." He walked right past him into his elevator.

Jona let out a soft gasp. He cleared his throat and turned to Adriana. "You can take the elevator to the 7th floor I will meet you there."

"I'm not taking an elevator with him." Adriana stubbornly walked inside the elevator next to it.

"Wow...what just happened?" Angel shot then a confused look.

Simon ran inside panting. "Stop them at all costs!" He shouted.

Noah lips twitched and he exited the elevator. He placed his foot between the doors of the other one and dragged Adriana out. He pushed her inside his private elevator and locked the doors close by pressing a button on the keypad.

"What are you doing?" She glared at him, taking a step back.

"Saving us." He responded.

The last time Simon tried to mend things between them it was in a mall. He called out for everyone's attention and yelled out the situation. That was the most embarrassing and humiliating thing they had gone through. But at least they stopped fighting and were able to make amends.

Still, Noah was left completely traumatized and he was afraid Simon would do it again in front of all his employees.

Simon might not have bad intentions but he has the worst way of handling things. The complete WROST. No wonder he can't get into a proper relationship. It's no surprise really.

Adriana moved away from him and pressed the button for the seventh floor like Jona told her.

"By the way, I was thinking. On saturday's I don't want anyone catching a glimpse of Aria when she visits you. If my daughter weren't so attached to you I wouldn't be doing this. Please ensure that she will stay for an hour at most and only once a week." She explained.

"You made that clear." He responded.

"I'm just making sure you don't forget."

...

"Auntie! Someone is knocking on the door!" Aria shouted.

"Wait a minute I will be right there!" Caroline yelled back.

Aria turned down the volume of the music and picked up 4 chairs. She stacked up the blue, pink, and purple chairs. She then stepped on it to look out of the hole on the door.

"It's me!" Simon grinned.

"Oh….It's Mr.Burrito!" Aria yelled.

"Agh, not him again what does he want?" Caroline groaned and picked Aria up to open the door.

Aria shrugged.

"Hey, did my favorite niece miss me?" Simon came down to her height and tried to pinch her cheeks.

Aria quickly took a step back to avoid his hand and patted her cheeks as if comforting them. "Mr. Burrito please stop doing that." She pouted.

"Tch." Simon sighed.

Last year Aria and James where play fighting with him and they rolled him up in a big thick blanket. They had trapped him there and he was unabable to get out so they came up with the nickname 'Mr.Burrito'. The twins had basically created a nuck name for everyone they met and got along with.

Anyway, Simon had stayed like a burrito for all day until Adriana came back from work and freed him.

"Did you upset mommy?" Aria asked.

Simon came inside after greeting Caroline.

"Do you want lunch?" She asked. "No thanks I'm stuffed."

"Alright, I'll be in the kitchen if you need anything." Caroline locked the door and went to finish cleaning up the kitchen since her and Aria had finished their lunch.

"Kay."

Simon turned to Aria.

"Okay, so I did maybe anger your mommy and your da- uncle Noah who I think you have already met."

"You know Uncle Noah too?" Aria asked.

"Yes, we are friends from a very long time," Simon answered taking a seat in the living room.

"What are you offering?"

"Think about it princess. Limited edition glow in the dark unicorn, and limited edition majic world squishy collection. They will come out in 4 months but I can get them to you in 3 days." Simon offered.

Aria rubbed her chin and gave it a thought. "Interesting offer."

"So what do you say?" He looked at her with hope in his eyes.

"I can try to convince them but that's all I will offer."

"Deal!" Simon offered his hand and Aria shook it like the businesswoman in training that she is.

"Wait, I need to see the order for myselfl." Aria interrupted and withdrew her hand.

Simon nodded and took out his phone. He started showing her the pictures and smirked when he saw her bright eyes.

"Wow, it's BEAUTIFUL. Mr.Burrito you are the best! James is going to love the pirate one!" She cheered. She offered her hand and shook Simon's.

"It's a deal!"

After making this 'deal' she started messaging James and telling him how he would love the new toys uncle Simon had 'gifted' her and how she was the best sister in the world for choosing some for him as well.
