Event 43: Guest

"Well I guess the difference between our food is obvious don't you think old?" Haruta asked as she lifted the empty dishes to continue washing.

The old man stared at Haruta and then let out a defeated sigh "You are right, the difference in our abilities is abysmal, even though I have more experience than you in the kitchen it seems like the opposite" the old man spoke to a tone full of regret but then his face changed to one of happiness "But I am grateful to have such a talented chef in my restaurant"

Haruta just listened to the old man's words in silence as he let out a small smile of joy "But I'm only a part-time worker, I keep going to classes every day," said Haruta.

"You don't need to mention that, I know your situation perfectly" said the old man

"I suppose Yamamoto gave you all the details ..." Haruta said as she washed the dishes they had used as well as all the utensils.

"I certainly mention some things from your school, but it was not necessary since you two attend the same school as my dear daughter" said the old man puffing out his chest proud of his words.

They both talked for a moment until when Ogata went down the stairs again with a different set of clothes, now the three of them talked about all kinds of topics while agreeing on Haruta's work schedule, the payment he would receive and many other things.

By the time the sun began to go down, Haruta left the restaurant quietly, when he reached the street he checked the messages on his phone, crossed the street and on the other side found Kiyoko who was waiting for him.

"They're already gone?" Haruta asked looking at the surroundings

"Don't worry, you made a long time and they decided to go to their respective houses" Kiyoko said taking out her phone showing the conversation she had with Haruta.

"Sigh ..." Haruta sighed wiping the sweat from his face "Thanks Kiyoko, you really saved me this time, I didn't want to accumulate more problems but if Rei was next to the president they will ask unnecessary questions"

As Haruta spoke Kiyoko was nodding her head, they both started walking down the street with ease as Kiyoko linked her arm in Haruta's so that they both looked like a couple, they both strolled through town.

"I will stay at your house for the rest of the week" Kiyoko said in a low voice but with a serious tone.

Haruta stared at him but then nodded "Well I guess no matter what he says don't back off, plus some company is no problem" Haruta said remembering how big his house is and how lonely he feels when he's the only one inside.

By the time they reached Haruta's house, the sun had already set and the stars were shining in the sky. "Well, here we are," said Haruta, opening the large door that led to the courtyards of Haruta territory.

Kiyoko was speechless looking at Haruta's house, in her mind she thought that Haruta lived in a small house but she never imagined that Haruta's house was really a mansion.

"What's up Kiyoko, why are you stopping?" Haruta asked who was quietly passing through the large door.

"this is yours?" Kiyoko asked pointing to the house in front of her

Haruta nodded "At the moment it is my father's, but the will says that as soon as he comes of age this is all my property," said Haruta, recalling a paper that the original Haruta had in his hands some time before that he was expelled from Tootsuki.

Before Kiyoko could say anything else, Haruta pulled her by the arm causing the gate to pass "Come on, there is no time to lose" Haruta said as he led the way, Kiyoko followed closely while holding her hand, her face Kiyoko currently had a slight blush.

Haruta used his key to open the front door of the house letting Kiyoko enter behind him, quickly all the lights were turned on showing the surroundings.

Kiyoko was stunned again, she had never imagined that Haruta had such a degree of wealth, no one could imagine it.

"Good, since you will stay a few days you will need a room, at least to store your belongings correctly"

Haruta selected the room that followed his, a spacious room with a personal bathroom and a large window to the outside.

Kiyoko was surprised at how big the room was "It has been unused for a long time but I always clean these rooms so no problem, of course I have to look for the whole set for the bed before sleeping" Haruta said leaving a bag on the floor where Kiyoko brought all her belongings.

But before Haruta managed to get out of the room he was stopped by Kiyoko who grabbed the side of Haruta's shirt "No need" Kiyoko muttered lowering her head

"What do you say?" Haruta asked looking at Kiyoko

"You do not need to prepare everything, today I will stay in your room if it is not too much trouble" Kiyoko said with a blushing tone on her face causing Haruta to turn her face so as not to be ashamed of herself.

"No, no problem" Haruta said taking his eyes off Kiyoko as he turned around again to leave the room now heading towards the kitchen.

Kiyoko stayed behind staring at Haruta's back, smiled slightly, then headed to the bathroom with the aim of taking a shower while Haruta cooked dinner.
