Event 50: Friendships from the past (2)

After the meeting with Kuga, Haruta went to the classroom that Erina and Hisako attended, when they both left class the first thing they saw was Haruta in the hallway with a small pocket book in her hand.

"Hello," Haruta greeted when he noticed the two girls standing a few meters away "how were your classes?" Haruta asked in a friendly tone.

"What are you doing here?" Erina asked quietly looking in the direction Haruta was

Many students watched the scene with curiosity, but since the rumor had spread throughout the school, everyone knew that Haruta was currently Erina's follower so they found him normal.

"Well, I finished my practice sooner and I came to pick up both beauties" Haruta said kindly with a friendly smile

Erina didn't say anything else and started walking, Hisako approached Haruta greeting him with a small bow and then following Erina, not knowing what to do Haruta just let out a sigh and followed the two girls closely.

The days passed and for Haruta it was normal to be close to Erina, on rest days he would have to spend almost the whole day in Erina's house but this did not bother him since he took it as a free time outside his activities common.

On the other hand, Hisako was always next to Erina or was studying medicinal food, one of her family's specialties, one of the things that caught Haruta's attention, who ended up learning next to Hisako.

Finally there was Erina who on rest days is always at a table trying all the dishes that were delivered to her, Haruta could not see Azami Nakamura close but she knew that all those chefs were sent by him to train Erina's palate.

By the time he found the time that Erina was alone in the room, Haruta entered without asking for permission sitting in a seat close to Erina "Uhaaaa ..." Yawning Haruta pulling Erina out of the trance "This is too tedious ... how can you bear all the work you have? " Haruta asked.

"It is what I have to do" Erina replied with a neutral tone of voice

"Bored ..." Haruta interrupted "what's the use of trying food if you don't prepare something for yourself with that talent?"

"What do you mean?" Erina asked looking at Haruta

"Your food has no character, it's like your face, both are like a blank paper, I really don't understand how you can live this way ..." Haruta complained crossing his arms annoyed as he settled on the sofa.

"Of course my food has character, I learned from the best cook of all" Erina got annoyed at Haruta's words and got up from her seat.

Haruta didn't say anything more, letting out a smile "I doubt I'm the best chef of all if I train a girl who cooks characterless meals" Haruta said making Erina more upset than before.

Erina standing annoyed walked to where Haruta was and pointed it directly to his face "I challenge you to a duel, if I win you will retract your words!" Erina exclaimed

"What do I gain from this duel?" Haruta asked without getting up from the sofa but only opening her eyes.

"What do you win?" Erina asked doubting her answer "What do you want?"

"Hmm ...." Haruta started to think looking at the ceiling with doubt "I have an idea, if I win you have to join me next weekend when I go to buy ingredients"

"A trivial matter, I accept" Erina said arrogantly

"H-Haruta is the winner" Hisako had tears in her eyes as she lowered her head declaring the winner of the friendly duel between Erina and Haruta.

Haruta listened to Hisako's words and raised her hand in victory, the duel was instantaneous, it was a free subject and they would use everything they had at hand, the kitchen of the Nakiri house was the space for the duel.

Erina used various spices to cook an elegant dish, on the other hand, Haruta used tea leaves as a base for her dishes.

"This is impossible, I am the possessor of the divine language, I can refine any dish you have in mind" Erina said squeezing her hands annoyed

"If you have doubts about my talent, try my food" Haruta said handing her plate in front of Erina who took it with her trembling hands.

Slowly he took the first bite and almost instantly opened his eyes "Kyaaa!" Erina shouted, losing the strength of her legs.

By the time she finished eating she couldn't stand up and just looked at Haruta from the ground "what's wrong Erina-sama, is it perhaps my delicious dish?" Haruta asked looking up at her arrogantly.

Erina's cheeks were puffed up with annoyance as she looked away holding the tears in her eyes "I-I accept it, your food is delicious" Erina said making Haruta laugh out loud.

"Don't forget your promise" said Haruta, putting away the utensils used in the competition, inside the wooden box.

"Of course I will not forget it, send me a list of the necessary ingredients, I will send someone to gather them all" Erina said annoyed

Haruta turned around and looked at Erina with doubt "what are you talking about?"

"Well you want ingredients and I ..."

"None of that, Hisako and You will accompany me to buy the ingredients, we need to get out of this environment before you become a computer without feelings" said Haruta clarifying the situation.

"G-Get out of tootsuki?!" Erina asked, surprised at Haruta's words.

"You never went out of tootsuki alone?" Haruta asked what they both denied with their heads "I understand the problem, you don't have any common sense but don't worry now you have me with you and I will teach you everything you need so you can act normal" said Haruta with pride inflating your chest.

Both Erina and Hisako had doubts about Haruta's words, but seeing the young man's intentions, both decided to leave him in his hands.
