"You finally did it, the first volume of Mahouka is in all the stores" Yamamoto's calm voice reached the ears of Haruta who was looking intently at the book in his hands.
A set of emotions had erupted in Haruta, seeing his name on a cover for the first time was a huge blow of excitement and pride. "This is great," Haruta muttered as she headed to the box to pay for her copy.
on the other hand Yamamoto followed him to the side with another copy in his hands "The first chapter of the story was published in a magazine a few weeks before the official publication of the novel, the result of the popularity poll was satisfactory" said Yamamoto handing over the information you have about the Haruta novel in advance.
"Yes, Shirakawa-san contacted me a few days ago to offer a contract," Haruta reported, paying for her book at the cashier of the store.
"A contract? I thought you already had the contract" Yamamoto said while paying for his own book
"This time it is a contract extension for the first three volumes, shirakawa-san added that if Mahouka's sales are satisfactory it could be extended to the end of the story," said Haruta, keeping the first volume of Mahouka in his backpack while Yamamoto did the same.
"That's great" Yamamoto was happy as they both continued on their way without stopping "How is your relationship with Asuna-san now that they live together?"
"What's that question about ?!" Haruta exclaimed in surprise, Yamamoto's question came out of nowhere
"Well, I gave you all the information about Asuna-san's family and no message came to inform me of the situation. Furthermore, you did not ask me for help with anything, which means that Asuna-san must be living in your house" Yamamoto went straight to his guesses causing Haruta to look away.
"That's none of your business!" Haruta exclaimed
Seeing Haruta's expression, Yamamoto couldn't help but laugh slightly as he smiled "Then something is happening between the two" Yamamoto said teasingly
"Nothing happens, nothing at all, we are just friends" Haruta tried to clarify her relationship with Asuna in front of Yamamoto "She only had a family problem, she came to my house and she is living with me, there is nothing else"
"You are pathetic Haruta" Yamamoto said mocking with a serious expression towards his friend.
"Leave your comments to yourself!" Haruta exclaimed annoyed at Yamamoto's comments.

A few days had already passed since the tour of the unexplored and abandoned areas in the Ichijo mansion, therefore some days have also passed since what happened in the last room.
Currently Asuna continues to live in Haruta's house, she is not attending classes and therefore Haruta and her friends dedicate themselves to taking care of the cooking club, making it work every day.
"I'm already home" said Haruta opening the front door of his house only to stand on his feet
In front of Haruta was the living room and in it two people known to the young man, Asuna and Kiyoko were staring at each other.
On one side was Asuna wearing a yellow apron with her arms crossed and a ladle in her right hand, she had a serious expression on her face as she looked towards the young woman that was in front of her.
Across the room was Kiyoko who was staring at Asuna, she was still dressed in her school uniform.
Upon hearing Haruta's words, they both changed their point of view by focusing all of their attention on Haruta.
"Ugh!" Seeing the expressions of both girls, Haruta couldn't help but swallow hard, imagining the approaching headache.
"Haruta!"
"Stop ..." Haruta extended her hand with her outstretched palm to interrupt both girls who had said her name in unison "Before they say anything, all this has a coherent explanation, on the other hand ..." Haruta searched his bag for a moment "The first volume of Mahouka is already on sale"
Haruta's smile was overshadowed by the expressions of both girls who were still staring at him "Oh, right .... I think it was not a good time to mention it" between tremors Haruta kept the book in her bag 'I was hoping to divert the problem with my novel ... 'Haruta complained in his mind.
"Well, they both want an explanation ....." Haruta said making both girls nod "Sigh ...." Haruta sighed in annoyance gaining a more severe look from the girls.
"Alright alright, no sighs" said Haruta taking a step back "the club president is staying here due to family problems and Kiyoko visits regularly, stays at home for a few days and then returns to her own home" Haruta explained summarizing everything.
Asuna exchanged her gaze between Haruta and Kiyoko "are you guys dating?" Asuna asked
"Something like that" Kiyoko replied letting out a small smile
"None of that," Haruta replied at the same time as Kiyoko, but upon hearing the manager's response, he was only left blank.
Kiyoko did not wait and locked Haruta's arm between her breasts while declaring her victory against Asuna "We are not boyfriends, but we are not just friends either" Kiyoko said maliciously while boasting with a smile on her face.
Asuna on the other hand could only squeeze the ladle in her hands while letting out a malicious smile.
"Ugh" Haruta complained as she felt the chill run down her spine.
"I will stay for a week this time" Kiyoko said showing a large suitcase that was on the floor "This time I brought some things to fix the house, I hope I can spend the holidays here"
"Good, I'll take your suitcase to the room" Haruta said taking the suitcase with one hand while Kiyoko followed closely behind.
CRACK!
"Ugh!" Haruta complained again when he heard the sound of the wood breaking, he quickly knew that it was an old wooden pallet that he had in the kitchen.
