Jasmine Yale truly was giving a speech on such an occasion for the first time, striving to remain calm, yet nervousness was inevitable.
Eight minutes was a lengthy process.
But, particularly nervous during the first minute, gradually, her mood eased considerably.
Her bright eyes looked toward the crowd beneath the stage; the corners of her lips bore a slight smile, as dimples flickered between visibility and invisibility.
She didn't know why, but when she looked at the crowd below, her heart inexplicably felt less tense.
She always felt that there were a pair of familiar eyes watching her from beneath the stage.
However, as she looked up, all she saw was a dense crowd of people, men and women, old and young.
She couldn't locate the source of those eyes, but every time she looked down at the crowd, her heart felt a strange sensation.
This feeling was very intense.
Right around eight minutes, Jasmine Yale finished her opening ceremony speech.
