"Have I been holding you up?" Jasmine Yale quickly said.
It was already a big imposition for her to ask him to take her to the hospital in the middle of the night, not to mention that he had stayed with her the whole time.
"It's fine, work has been slow lately," Yukon Carbon said with a slight smile.
In the daylight, his smile came across as clear and bright.
"I really appreciate you, and Aunt Camden too. This is the first time something like this has happened to me since I've been alone in Cakago."
"These things happen. Next time, call my mother right away if something comes up; she's always there," Yukon instructed.
