If it hadn't been for Yukon Carbon's call, Jasmine Yale wouldn't have known how much longer she would have continued cleaning by the sink.
The sudden ring of the phone startled Jasmine.
Sweet Kitty perked up its ears and "meowed."
Jasmine answered the phone.
"Have you gone to bed? I'm still at the airport."
"Delayed for so long? Will it interfere with your work tomorrow?"
"That won't happen, but the airport is just as boring as you said."
"Then you can chat with me, I haven't slept yet, and neither has Sweet Kitty."
"I won't keep you, go to sleep early, you have classes tomorrow morning. What classes do you have tomorrow morning?"
"Two history of journalism classes, two writing classes."
"That's a full schedule, don't be late, go to sleep early, staying up late is bad for your health." Yukon whispered his advice to her with a lowered voice.
"So, are you especially bored at the airport? It's still early, I can keep you company for a while."
