So-Young's Performance

*Flashback*

So-Young had considered which song to perform for a long time. She was debating over singing a English song or a Korean song. After some consideration, she decided to sing an English song. Knowing that she knew English could also be an advantage to her. Thus, all she had left was to decide on an English song.

In her past life, She had listened to all kinds of music. Though she enjoyed K-pop a lot, she did listen to some English songs on the side. So, she had a lot of knowledge in that genre of music too. She finally decided to sing Eminem's Lose Yourself. That song was one that inspired many people. She decided to change the song up a little bit. The song mainly focused on rapping, so, it would not display her full potential. So, she added a verse that could help her show her singing skills.

By doing so, it would not only show her singing and rapping skills, but would also show that she could compose her own music. It was not easy to stand out in a crowd of hundred. Only by being different and taking risks would she be able to make an impression on the judges. It was all in or nothing.

*Back to the present*

So-Young said "I will be performing lose yourself by Eminem. " Everyone who was interested in rap knew Eminem. Everyone was excited to see how she would perform it. Most people found it hard to rap in English and they were curious to see how this genius would perform.

After a few seconds the backing track started playing and So-Young started rapping. There was an apparent change in her personality. It looked like she was telling her story through the song. She did not stand in one place but moved around the whole room while exuding a cool vibe. It captured everyone in the room. No one could take their eyes off her.

Then came the chorus: She broke out a few moves that matched the beat of the song

And when everyone expected the second verse to come in, there was a sudden change in music. It suddenly slowed down and became more calm and serene. So-Young's light and emotional voice came through

And my world finally became bright

Suddenly I see

to break out of this trance

So-young again started rapping to the chorus and the song finally came to an end.
