So-Young was extremely drained out emotionally after the ride back home. She kept on thinking about how her actions could cause such a big effect. She walked into her house. Her mother was sitting on the couch in the living room. She was now 6 months pregnant and her stomach was really big. She looked up and was shocked to see So-Young. "So-young? How come you are back so early? Oh My God! What happened to you. You look terrible!"
So-Young sat beside her mother.
So-Young: "I am okay mom. Just was tired out from today's practice."
Mom: " don't lie to me! I know you are never tired out by practice. You feel accomplished after that. This must be related to your past. You know you can tell me anything right?"
So-Young: "You are right mom. Okay I'll tell you everything."
So-Young went on to explain her concerns. She told her how she felt confused by her past life and how weird it felt if she thought how her past body would be existing simultaneously with her current body. Her mom listened to her without saying anything. That helped her a lot. After spilling her guts out, she felt better. Her Mom just gave her a tight hug.
"So-Young, me and your Dad will look into it and see if there is a girl named Trisha Pathak living in India. You are you. Don't let your past define you. You can never erase your past but don't let it eat up your present. Think of it as a means to grow from. Even if Trisha Pathak exists, she is different from you. Only you know that she was your past."
So-Young thought about the words her mother said. What she said was true. Thinking about it was not going to do anything. It was time to come to terms with this. If Trisha Pathak does exist, she was going to do something to prevent her from having such a sad life without having anyone's love. If she does not exist, it was well and good too.
"Thanks mom. It really helped me. I needed that." So-young told her mother about her decision. Talking so much about this inspired her. She thought of a new music concept.
So-Young: "Mom. I need to rush. I just thought of an idea for a new song. See you dinner."
Mom: "Gosh... that girl... just left after such an emotional talk.."
with that So-Young rushed up the stairs into her music room and started writing and recording her new song. Her recording systems had upgraded from a laptop to professional level equipment. She took a long time to patiently learn how to operate each instrument. Now, she was a pro at it.
She spent the rest of the day in the music room trying to finish her new song. She came down quickly gobbled up some dinner and ran back up. She stayed up till the morning to complete the song. It only needed a few professional touch-ups and it was ready. She felt happy with the result. This was by-far the best piece of music she had made.
