Bad feeling~
Adam pov- I'm walking quickly down the sidewalk going to the location my mother sent me, I don't know what she wants but I don't feel good about it. I walk until I'm in front of a clothing store and I see my mother standing there. She turns around and says "We need to talk" Adam "About what". This guy comes up to my mother and turns to look straight at me. Mother "This is the guy I have sent to watch you so I can see what your really up to outside of school,while I'm doing stuff" my mother starts scrolling through her phone and then stops and shows me a picture of me and Kayden at the restaurant the other day and then she shows me another of me and him when me and Kayden were in the bed last night. Adam "H-how" Mother "One was done by him" she nods to the guy, Mother "The other, well I have my ways". Mother "I told you not to be with him, and you even went as far as to pretend to be with that girl, how disappointing" Adam "I-" Mother "You know, it would be a shame if something happened to him huh" Adam "What?". She scrolls more through her phone and stops and shows me a picture of Kayden tied up in an all white room somewhere. Adam "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!" Mother "Nothing yet sweetie, but if you don't cooperate then something will be done, hmmm what a shame that would be" Adam "What do you want me to do" Mother "I want you, to never see him again leave here so you can start the business I want you to have no contacts over here so that you can focus then maybe I'll let him go" Adam "WHAT BUT-". She looks down at her phone again, types something in and then shows me another picture of Kayden beat up and bruised and passed out on the floor. I start tearing up, Adam "NO! I'll do it, please don't hurt him anymore he didn't do anything wrong just leave him alone, I-I'll do the business and I won't come back happy!" Mother "Hmmm, very, okay We'll let him go, AFTER, you leave and start the business" Adam "WHA-" Mother "DO YOU WANT SOMETHING ELSE TO HAPPEN TO HIM" Adam "NO! Okay okay deal" Mother "Good, go get everything set and get ready we're leaving tomorrow morning" Adam "Okay". I walk home and when I get there I look at Kaydens house and think, if we never met then he wouldn't have gone through what he did now his pain is my fault and I can't even say I'm sorry to him. Later that night I hear a knock at my door, it's probably my mother. I get up to go see who it is and it's Liam. Adam "W-what are you doing here? '' I look past him to see if anybodys there when I don't see anyone I pull him inside. Liam "Where is Kayden, is he here?I texted him earlier and he didn't respond" Adam "I- *sigh* my mother has him" Liam "What do you mean by "My mother has him" like are they hanging out or something more complicated" Adam "It's more complicated, she um, I have to give you a bit of backstory for you to understand but Kayden isn't safe and I'm leaving tomorrow so that he can be". Liam "What do you mean, not safe?! What happened" Adam "My Mother wants me to do a business and I refused so, she hired people to kidnap Kayden they beat him and have him tied up somewhere I don't know where or I would have gone already to get him, but she promised if I left and never came back he would be safe" Liam "So your telling me, MY BEST FRIEND IS SOMEWHERE BEAT UP BECAUSE OF YOUR STUPID FAMILY BUSSINES AND ALL YOUR DOING TO GET HIM HOME IS BY LEAVING HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW YOUR MOTHER WILL KEEP HER WORD". Adam "I-I, I don't, but it's the only thing I can do". My eyes start watering, Adam "It's not like I want something bad to happen to him" I look down and I feel the tears going down my face "But it's not like I can do anything" I choke "I don't know where he is, and he's all beat up and it's all my fault". I fall and start to cry while Liam just looks at me" Liam "When are you leaving" Adam "T-tomorrow morning" I say while shaking and trying to wipe my tears. Liam "Stop crying and look at me, I look up at Liam, Liam "Were going to look all night for him lets go now" Adam "wh-what".
