Missed calls (Too much)

Hearing his response, Yu Chen was shocked. "This girl. She has something to do with Xia??"

But she said nothing. Mo Kio's response was so destructive that the girl had no words. As they were passing, Mo Kio whispered in her ear, "You mock Chen. But she is the girl Si Xia fell for." The girl was stunned. Her teammates pulled her to the booth and the four of them went back to their cubicle.

While walking, Yu Chen looked questioningly at Mo Kio, and he spoke, "I know. I'll tell you everything."

He began his story. He told them all about her. Her name was Xe Qingya. Si Xia and Mo Kio met her during their first year of high school. Being the playboy he was, Mo Kio started dating her. But he came to know that she was following Si Xia around when he was not there. Even though Xia never even spared her a glance. When Kio confronted her, she said that he was nothing special and broke their relationship. It was not a big deal for Kio, so he ignored it until one day she hired some boys to beat Kio up. All because she had not followed her around and begged her to stay. As Kio was unusually experienced in fights, he beat up the hired five boys, getting a really worse beating in return.

As his father found out about the incident, he wanted to destroy Xe Qingya and the Xe family. But Kio asked him to let it go.

The matter was finally settled when Xe Qingya was transferred to another school and Mo Kio went about with his life like nothing happened.

The story was over as they reached their cubicle and sat down. Huo Zenghai said, "I'm really glad I made friends with you. You lead such an exciting life."

Mo Kio took out his phone which had been on silent since the competition started. He looked at it and then at the other three. "Look at your phones right now."

They all took out their phones. Xi Hua exclaimed, "Oh shit, I have four missed calls from Si Xia."

Huo Zenghai: "I've got six."

Mo Kio: "You guys are really behind. Me? He called me Seventeen times."

Xi Hua: "I wonder how many times he called Chen." And then they all looked at Chen who just sat there, looking at her phone.

Huo Zenghai jumped towards her, "How many missed calls due you have?"

Yu Chen quickly chucked her phone away and replied, "Eleven."

Huo Zenghai: "No. Less than Kio!!!! Not possible!"

Xi Hua: "I guess we know where his priorities are."

Mo Kio looked at Chen and raised an eyebrow. It seemed to say, "Liar."

Yu Chen avoided his eyes and looked at her phone again. It said, "Xia: Missed calls(28)"

She wondered aloud, "Maybe we should call him?"

Huo Zenghai: "Yeah. Let's tell him about our victory."

Xi Hua proceed to call him, but Xia did not pick up.

Xi Hua: "He's not picking up."

Mo Kio: "Maybe he is busy."

Yu Chen: "He's probably busy with his tour. Let's call him afterwards."
