Going to Hua's house

Chen was silent for some time before she answered, "Okay fine."

Xi Hua: "Yayy!!! Ooo and Chen? I have many latest gossips for you."

Yu Chen put down the phone and began getting ready. Xi Hua was such a kid. She was so carefree and lived life in the present. The complete opposite of Yu Chen. "And maybe this opposite is what I need." Chen thought as she wore white pants and a red sweater. Then she thought if something and decided to take the food to Hua's house. Yu Chen picked up the alredy packed food and then her eyes fell on the boots Mian had given her.

She had said, "Sis, you are so boring. You only have sneakers and no other type of shoes. Here take these, these will look really pretty on you." It had turned out that some friend of Mian had gifted her the exact same shoes she had bought on her previous birthday. Mian could not refuse, so she had two pairs of the same shoes. Yu Chen smiled remembering Mian's face when she gave her the shoes, "We will match sis, we will be like a pair of unstoppable sisters."

She put on the boots and went to Hua's house. Xi Hua was not so rich like Mo Kio or Yuan Zuan, but her family was still very well off. They lived in a nice big house which looked rather grand to Chen as she rang the doorbell. Mrs. Xi opened the door. She was a stern looking women and Yu Chen knew from experience that she was quite pleasant until someone crossed her, when she would turn into a complete demon. Right now, Mrs. Xi looked like she was in a good mood. She smiled and welcomed Chen into the house. "I am glad you are here Chen. Hua is waiting upstairs in her room." Yu Chen nodded and handed her the packet of food, "Here Mrs. Xi. This is the food my mother packed. Hua loves my mother's cooking."

Mrs. Xi nodded, "Maria is just In the kitchen. I'll ask her to heat it up and send it to her room."

As Chen headed up the stairs, Xi Wan, Hua's little brother, came running towards her, "Chen nee-san. It's nice to see you. Come on, let's play." Han was 10 years old, 6 years younger than Chen and Hua. Yu Chen patted his head, "Some other time, okay Han?"

Xi Han pouted as Xi Hua's bedroom door opened and she peeked out, "Han, what are you doing?" then her eyes fell on Chen. "Ooo, Chen come inside. Come come. Han, go down. Don't bother us." saying this she pulled Chen into her room.

As Yu Chen entered the room, she asked, "Where are the others?"

Xi Hua: "Well I had to give them a later time than you of course."

Yu Chen: *puzzled* "Why?"

Xi Hua: "My mom would flip out if any boy came to see me when I am alone in my room."

Yu Chen gave her a look of acknowledgement. Xi Hua continued, "They should be here any moment."
