Huo Zenghai was shocked and looked at Yu Chen. He said, "What do you mean by that?"

Yu Chen crossed her arms and said, "You know what Hua is like. She likes to joke around and prank people, she can't stand if anyone is unhappy around her. But that same girl hates to cause trouble for other people."

Mo Kio: "Whatever joke she pulls off, it ultimately leaves all the people laughing. Even the recipient."

Si Xia: "And she specially cares about her family and friends. She would never talk to you if she knew how much trouble you gave everyone...."

"Thinking only selfishly of yourself." Yu Chen finished the sentence and looked at Huo Zenghai.

Huo Zenghai's eyes shone with tears, "Then what am I supposed to do? Tell me."

Mo Kio sat on his bedside and said, "You should just co-operate with the doctors whole they do some tests. And after you're discharged, you can live in Hua's room for all anyone cares."

Si Xia looked at him and said, "Look at your mom. She was so worried about you that she did not sleep last night. And you're still causing trouble for her."

Huo Zenghai sat up and as the three ran to push him down, he stopped them, "It's all right. The doctor said I could sit. I'm basically fine." He then looked at his sleeping mother and said in a small voice, "Kio, call my dad. Tell him to come here and get me discharged. And ask the on call nurse to call the doctor. I'm ready for the tests. Let's just get it over with."

Yu Chen smiled and patted his head, "Good boy. You want a treat?"

Huo Zenghai laughed and brushed away her hand. Si Xia said, "You see, this is what Hua would like to see when she wakes up."

Yu Chen stood up. She said, "Kio, could you stay here with Zenghai? I'm gonna go check up on Hua."

Mo Kio nodded and Si Xia said while walking beside her, "I'll come too."

Huo Zenghai called out, "And Chen?"

Yu Chen was almost at the door and turned around with a questioning gaze. Huo Zenghai smiled and said, "Tell her to wake up soon. I'm getting really bored without someone to annoy me. You're not that bad without your partner in crime."

Yu Chen laughed, "Get out of that bed soon. I promise I won't kill you as soon as you are discharged."

Then she and Xia went towards Xi Hua's room.

When they opened the door, Mrs. Xi was sitting inside. She smiled with a tired face upon seeing the two. Yu Chen went up to her and asked, "Are you all right, Mrs. Xi?"

Mrs. Xi nodded and said, "Yeah Hua is all right. The doctor said that....." She suddenly realised that Yu Chen had asked how was she. She said, "Why are you asking about me, dear?"

Yu Chen: "Because you look like you didn't sleep last night."

Mrs. Xi: "I did sleep for some time. I'll go home when Hua's father comes here."

Yu Chen: "Yeah, you need to take care of yourself too, for Hua's and Han's sake."

Mrs. Xi nodded and she said, "Actually we are really lucky. Hua's brain was not damaged much and the doctor said that she should be waking up within seventy-two hours. That's when they will operate on her leg."
