Mom loves me more than you

Mr. Yu sighed and took the packet back. Then he took out something from his pocket and gave it to Chen, saying, "Fine. Keep this."

Chen looked at thing in her hands and saw that it was a bank card. She asked, "What's this, dad?"

Mr. Yu: "This is the card of the account where this money was deposited till yesterday. Tomorrow, I'm going to deposit it again. So, you will have the money with you and not have to carry cash. Win-win."

Yu Chen: "I thought I was stubborn."

Mr. Yu laughed, "From whom did you think you got it from? Obviously not your mother, who sways as soon as you flash a smile and show her your puppy eyes."

Yu Chen also laughed and hugged her father. She said, "Dad, I'm glad I was born in this family. I am thankful that you guys are my parents, I'm relieved that Mian is my sister."

Yu Chen said as a tear rolled down from her eyes. She did not see her father wiping away tears from his eyes as he said, "Okay, go and enjoy now. Mian will be mad if I keep you for a long time."

That night, Yu Chen and Yu Mian stayed up to talk for a long time. Yu Chen told her all about her friends and what was happening in the city. Mian was very distressed upon hearing about Hua and said that she would like to visit her.

So Chen promised to take her there, only if she could come back on her own, to which Mian waved her hands, signalling that it was no big deal.

Yu Mian told Chen all about their old friends that she was still in contact with. Chen also read some of the short stories Mian had written and the novel she was working on. Finally, the two girls fell asleep in Mian's room after they were done packing.

They both slept very late in the morning, and their parents did not seem to mind. It was usual for the girls to stay late into the night and wake up late the next day.

After a late breakfast, the two said goodbye to their parents. Chen hugged her crying mother and hiding his tears father. Mian called out from behind, "Do I also get a hig or it's just exclusive for Sis?"

The family laughed and the four of them stood in a group hug before Mr. Yu suddenly pulled back and reminded the girls not to miss their bus.

As the two were leaving, their bags on their shoulders, Mrs. Yu called out from behind" Chen, eat properly Love you. Mian, don't cause any trouble."

Chen laughed and Mian almost slipped upon hearing her mother's words.

Mian: "What the hell? What does she take me for? And no I love you?"

Chen: "Well, now you gotta admit that mom and dad love me more than you."

Mian: "Never will I do that. Even if earth splits into two."

Chen: "Pffft, what kind of logic is that? Why would earth split into two?"

Mian struck out her tongue, "Cause you're so heavy." And she ran, with Chen chasing her.
