Yu Chen nodded and slid the laptop back into the bag. She said, "I'll return this bag tomorrow."


Yu Chen hugged Kio and said, "I know how much this laptop must mean to you. And it really means a lot to me that you are giving it to me."


Mo Kio gently slapped her head, "Don't think too much. I'm just giving this to you so that you don't have the excuse about your laptop's speed when I beat you next time."


Yu Chen chuckled and did not say anything. They both sat there hugging for a while when suddenly Kio said, "Hey, it's snowing!!"


Yu Chen looked up and saw that he was right. A snowflake fell on her nose and she instantly felt it's cold.


Mo Kio said, "It's getting cold. It's the first snow after all. Let's get going."


Mo Kio: "Yeah. And if we stay long enough, people will begin to call us pretty ice sculptures. Let's go." And he began walking, after dusting away the snow that had settled on the grave.


Yu Chen chuckled and followed him. As they reached the cemetery gates, Mo Kio asked, "So, home for dinner?"


Yu Chen: "Actually.....I have to be somewhere."


Mo Kio: "Where do you have to be? It's late at night and you should not go out with a stranger."


Yu Chen was speechless upon seeing this big brother attitude of Kio. But it made her feel.warm inside and she let out a smile.


Mo Kio interupted her thoughts, "Why are you smiling? Where did you have to go anyway?"


Mo Kio was surprised, "Why do you want to go to Miss Zhu's dumplings? Mian must have prepared dinner. What's the point of going there?"


Yu Chen was surprised and slightly blushed. Seeing her face, realisation dawned on Kio and be said, "Are you going there on a date?"


Mo Kio: "Who is the guy? Do I know him?"


Yu Chen: "Okay, I've had enough big brother for one day. Go back to being Kio."


Mo Kio laughed, "You're going there to meet Xia, right? Come on, I'll drop you."


Yu Chen: "No it's fine, I'll take a cab."


Yu Chen: "That's not what I'm afraid about. Mian would be worried. Go home and help her finish the dinner she must have prepared. This is your chance to eat her cooking."


Mo Kio: "Are you sure you don't want me to drop you?"


Yu Chen shook her head. She said, "It's better you go to Mian. She is not habitual to being alone. I'm afraid she might be lonely."


Mo Kio got on the bike and said, "At least let me call you a cab." He then got out his phone and booked a cab. 


He said, "I've already made the payment."

Mo Kio ruffled her hair. Her hair became messy but Chen loved it. She touched her hair and smiled. She had always wanted a big sibling to pamper her.
