Si Xia went overboard

But Chen's expression abruptly changed as she dropped the noodles her chopsticks were holding.

Xi Hua looked up, "What's wrong, Chen?"

Yu Chen waved her hands, her cheeks going red, "No. Nothing. Focus on the food."

Xi Hua eyed Chen, clearly unconvinced. But her attention was diverted when she caught Huo Zenghai trying to steal food from her plate.

Seeing that they were both busy, Yu Chen turned her head to look at Si Xia, and muttered under her breath, "What are you doing?"

Si Xia looked at her with a confused expression, "What am I doing?"

Yu Chen's cheeks and ears were getting redder by the second. She said, "Where's your hand?"

Si Xia showed his hand holding the chopsticks. Yu Chen: "The other one?"

Si Xia's expression changed. It turned from one of confusion to a smirk.

His hand that was on Chen's back slowly slid under her sweater.

Yu Chen muttered, "St-stop it."

Si Xia leaned closer to her ear and whispered, "I want this as my gift."

Yu Chen could barely form out the words, her face red as a tomato, "No..."

Si Xia smirked and brought his chopsticks to Chen's mouth, saying, and making sure his voice drew Hua's and Zenghai's attention, "Why aren't you eating? Here have this."

Xi Hua looked at Chen and said, "Chen, what's wrong?"

Huo Zenghai: "Yeah Chen. Your face us all red, do you have a fever?"

Yu Chen stammered, "N-no. I do-don't."

Si Xia was teasing her so much that she could barely handle it.

Her eyes began to tear up as she looked at Si Xia, her expression pitiful.

Si Xia was surprised to see Chen's face. When he saw the red face and tear-filled eyes, he felt as though something was pulling on his heart strings. He pulled his hand out of Chen's sweater.

Xia picked up a napkin and carefully wiped away at Chen's eyes, before saying in a small voice, "Sorry. I was just....."

He then patted Chen's head so that she would calm down.

After Yu Chen calmed down a lot, she slapped away Xia's hand and put down her chopsticks.

All the three looked surprised, as Yu Chen was so excited about the food just a minute ago, and now she had put down her chopsticks.

Yu Chen stood up as she said, "I'm full. I'm going to the washroom for a minute. Excuse me."

She then walked out of the private room.

Xi Hua and Huo Zenghai looked puzzled. Hua stood up saying, "I'll go check if something is wrong."

Si Xia stood up and stopped her, "No. I'll go. You guys eat."

Saying this he rushed out of the room. Huo Zenghai looked at Xi Hua with a confused expression, "What was that all about?"

Xi Hua shrugged as she sat back down.

Si Xia reached outside the womens' washrooms and knocked. He said, "Chen, you inside?"

He did not get a response. Xia knocked two more times, with no avail.

Just as he was getting impatient, Yu Chen's voice came from inside, "It's empty. You can come in."

Si Xia opened the door and walked inside. He saw Yu Chen wiping her face with a tissue.

He said, "Really sorry Chen. I was just teasing you a little..."

Yu Chen shook her head, "It's alright. I was the one who overreacted."
