The two girls sat silently hugging on the floor for a long time before Chen said, "So, are we going to let each other go, or is this our official pose from now on."

Xi Hua chuckled, "Idiot." As she let Chen go with tears on the brim of her eyes.

Yu Chen was immediately worried, "What's wrong?"

Xi Hua shook her head. But immediately looked stopped and looked at Chen's face.

Yu Chen understood and rubbed her back saying, "Don't worry. You don't have to talk about it if you want to. It's just...I was worried about you."

Xi Hua shook her head again, "It's a silly little thing. I've upset Zenghai also."

Yu Chen sat there rubbing Hua's back, she did not want to seem to pushy by asking again and again.

Hua looked up with tears flowing out of her eyes and said, "Zenghai wants me to meet his parents."

Yu Chen's face turned into one of extreme happiness, then confusion as she said, "And you don't want to, why?"

Xi Hua: "No no. I would love to meet his parents. It's just that....He should meet my parents too. And....."

Yu Chen understood. Due to her childhood, Xi Hua still had a deep seeded fear of telling her parents anything. No matter how much her mom tried, Hua had kind of cut off her whole family, despite living in the same city.

Yu Chen gave Hua a light slap on the head and said, "Idiot. Do you think Zenghai will be sad only because you can't take him to meet your parents?"

Xi Hua said in a small voice, "In a panick, I told him I did not want to meet his parents."

Yu Chen slapped her forehead, "Oh my god. You bloody idiot. Think before you speak."

Xi Hua looked up, looking like a child who was about to be abandoned by its parents, "Do you think he hates me for it?"

Yu Chen: "I'll answer it after you tell me something. Did you lose your brain cells?"

Xi Hua: "..."

Yu Chen: "Or did you hit your head recently?"

Xi Hua: "..."

Yu Chen: "Geez! without me to mother you, you guys are all such idiots."

Xi Hua smiled.

Yu Chen looked at her and said, "You're overthinking. I'm sure you can't do something that will make Zenghai hate you. Even if you try."

Xi Hua looked up with hope, "Then....."

Yu Chen stroked her head, "Tall to Zenghai tomorrow. Honestly. Tell him everything. I'm sure he will understand."

Xi Hua dried her tears and nodded.

Yu Chen helped her up, "Couples should make themselves vulnerable to each other. If one cannot see your wound, how do you expect someone to heal it."

Yu Chen: "We all did."

Xi Hua said, looking towards the dining table, "Don't you want dinner? You barely ate anything."

Yu Chen scratched her chin, "I'm not that hungry. Go to sleep. I'll clean up."

Xi Hua shook her head and insisted on cleaning up with Chen. So the two girls cleaned up and Chen received Xia's call just as she was done.
